New Cycle Shifting

As we move into the new year, new cycle, new paradigm or whatever you may choose to call it - we are now NEW... and this is presenting interesting challenges to our physical and emotional bodies. The concept of 'NEW' to these bodies is triggering infant response patterns that make little or no sense to the mind, the intellect, and, in some instances, even to our hearts.

We can have physical, emotional reactions to people, places, things, situations, events, that on the surface appear to be nonsensical. We are either flung into reactivity or into the self-judgement backwash of 'what the bleep is going on? these are ridiculous feelings to have! why is this so painful?'.

What helps is to notice repetitive patterns in the physical body, sometimes in the form of repetitive symptoms,that mirror the adult body's triggering into an infant reaction of 'not safe' - 'can't trust' - or something like that. The physical body is being triggered into infant reactivity. NEW - as in a totally new cycle or paradigm - translates to some of our body programming as "I'm an infant again in a foreign world where I don't know how to function, I am totally dependant and terrified". Again, this is a physical body pattern and not real nor applicable in the NOW. It does not feel that way to the physical body, however. These patterns within it feel their survival is threatened.

The energies continue to intensify. The waves become larger. The bodies (physical and emotional) feel tossed into a new world with no umbilical, or with energetic umbilical attachments that no longer feel safe. And that is correct. Any attachment to the 'old' cycle will not serve, unless it, too, has altered and shifted to the NEW.

So how do we help our physical and emotional bodies? How does one help a terrified infant? We look honestly, we present the truth, we choose to trust, and we comfort those aspects of self that feel as though they are being annihilated. No aspect of self will be 'left behind' in this transformation. Therein lies much of its intensity. In other lives we may have allowed these physical and emotional patterns to simply 'go home' or may have dropped the body entirely. Not this time. Not this transition. That choice is always available, but it is not optimal during this transformational shifting.

If and when the feelings of terror, pain, panic, symptoms etc. surface, remember to breathe and let go. It is the last thing the infant patterns will want to do and they are, for the most part, non-verbal. So trying to 'talk them down' will be completely useless. Feel into the symptoms or emotions and bring the heartspace energies in. Bring soothing vibrations into the reactivity. And ask for help from the Divine.

Thank You, Divine Mother, for releasing, comforting and shifting these vibrations that are 'lost' in transformation. Show me what I may need to understand and let all the rest be held and transformed in your loving embrace.

~Opening to Receive~

~What or Who is Shining? ~
Today's full moon in Cancer, with the Sun aligned in Capricorn highlights our 'real work'. Or, perhaps better put, our originally intended receiving of Divine Essence through and into our lifestream. As an original point of light, we each entered a lightstream that became lifestreams. Why? To express the Infinite Oneness in some unique way. Because it was going to be FUN ~ a new playing field ~ a chance to honor Divinity by showing up in form AS THAT. A new game, a new field, a unique expression of Divine Love.

So how's that going for you? Like most, have you forgotten that original intention? Have you lost yourself in self-created karmas? In the ensueing drama of a world whose 'human' lifestreams have largely been 'lost' for what we would call 'awhile now'?

This moon cycle is a re-membering. A relaxing into receiving. Releasing any fears of WHAT you will receive ~ any beliefs that in this place any receiving is most likely toxic, that you will receive that which you do NOT enjoy, nor wish for, that which is experienced as 'pain'. Let it go. Those manifestations are of the old cycle. Filtered and tainted with conditioned reaction. Let it go. Re-member what it is to trust completely. Hear the inner voice of egoic construct that shouts or whispers "not possible... not possible here". Thank that voice and let it go.

Re-member the Divinity that you WERE and still ARE... a singular point of light, or so it seemed, so you chose... re-member and feel the lifting suppression of the inner smile. Relax and let it go. Even this... even THAT. Allow original intention to flood you, Divine Love to hold you. Just for today. Just for NOW. Re-member. NOW is what is. Not the Old World.

Relax. Be held. Ask that all aspects of self that chose to 'act' or 'control' or 'fight' for/against anything at all relax into Divine Embrace. Just for today. Just for NOW. (Not the Old World ~ not anymore.. not ever again)

Receive the replenishment, the rejuvenation, the nourishment available. Just receive... and see what wonders come of the receiving.

~ Holding the Field(s) ~

What does it mean to 'hold a field'? We have thought we knew, perhaps. We have learned 'how to hold space'... this is not that. This is not that. Consider the solstice alignment. We acknowledge the effects on our bodies, our lives, our fields, of the celestial alignments. Today's solstice (exact at 9:36 pm pacific time on the 21st, 'yesterday') is conjunct the Galactic Center and squared to Uranus, the embodiment of radical change. We acknowledge these embodiments, yet we hold ourselves as 'other', as 'different'. We attempt to be 'empty', to be a 'space' and to hold space for a concept, a cause, for 'others'. The time for this misperception is over.

When we 'hold space' we are an empty cup, the 'hollow reed' through which Spirit is invited to pour. Of course. Why then, is the concept of being Spirit-FILLED 100% of the time, so foreign? The cycle is shifting and we with it. If we 'hold space' it will be filled... most likely with what is attempting to escape the dying paradigms of the old cycle, and/or be transmuted through that lovely clear space. Ouch! Our physical and emotional bodies were not designed to transmute the shifting of a cycle. Karmas from one cycle (the old one) perhaps, but not this. Not this. Spirit must be and is the doer here.

To hold a field, is to collaborate as a full-filled Divine embodiment, as and how Spirit's agenda leads us. We become a facet of Her crystalline embodiment, a gem in the larger design of Her new choosing, a stone in the new temple(s) being built of Her love. If any one facet or gem or 'stone' is 'empty' it will be crushed by the incoming intensity. Filled with the debris of what releases... And yet there is resistance. I do not pretend to understand. Why resist being FILLED with the light, love and power of the Divine as She creates a new configuration for this universe? Why not be a co-creative particle in that wave? Why not, in plain language, 'go with her flow'?

To participate in holding the new field(s) is not an identity, not a 'job description' it is a privilege, an honour and quite a bit of fun! First, we feel the resonance with certain vibratory patterns. This may show up as groups, projects, downloads, or any form or formlessness at all. We begin to gravitate to and through that resonance. New patterns magnetize us and we them. We are drawn toward that which uplifts, nourishes and sustains our beingness as we draw towards us that which does the same.

And, as we co-create simply by resonance vibration, the patterns shift and change again... and again... and again... until we come to the 'place of no patterning' ~ where our vibratory signature frequency simply IS and is drawn toward that which it resonates with and with which it aligns naturally ~ on a moment to moment basis. NO attachment, no aversion, simply resonance in the moment, as the new cycle is configured in accordance with Divine Will. Now THAT is fun!

What is the 'price' of this liquid alignment? Your identity. Your personal boxes, labels, and fears. The cartilage or carapace with which you maintain the structures of mind and alignment and behaviour. The mind will not willingly surrender these ~ unless and until the resonance has become so powerful that the FUN, the JOY, the upliftment, can no longer be denied.

This is such an alignment. Our daystar (a being that burns with divine light) is present in our galactic field, squared to the planetary being of change. Identity 'squared' - not to make it stronger! Not to exponentiate the cage! To free all vestiges of limited alignment and allow fluidity to finally be received, not by a 'hollow reed' but AS our embodiment.

All we need intend is 'yes' and let go. She who is the foundation of ALL has already foreseen your JOY, your ONENESS... for you ARE THAT ~ a resonant part of Her grand design.

Poised in the Pause ~ 12/12 ~

Many of us have travelled the 'cracks between the worlds'. This is such a time. Rarely have we had such guidance. The full moon/eclipse energies, as the bookend for a window of opportunity, are gently closing a vast cosmic door on the 'past'. Can you feel the heaviness of the opened aperture sliding slowly into place, sealed. Closed behind us. The only openings the gateways (and there are many, varied and amazing) that move us ever onward into evolution. Where have your choices led you? What new openings now present themselves as gifts of Gaian transition? What openings have your choices now unveiled before you? It is an unending stream of stellar ignition. To THIS have your prayers and affirmations and commandments brought you. What/which will the turbo-blast now ignite or inflame?

The old world burns within us ~ sometimes as a joyous new burst of lightness and flow, sometimes as what feels like the unending quicksand of old habituations. Do not judge what you appear to experience - not yet. Not yet. The solstice gateway looms before us - inviting us into its perhaps devouring, perhaps luscious maw of grace. Whatever is left of the old world, let it burn. Enter the core of inner silence and let the birthing fire consume all that does not align with cosmic movement.

Today marks a stillpoint. A breathing point. Not a vantage point, to survey what was, and what may come, but a pause in the Great Transition, within which we can breathe and be grateful for all that may yet be.

Thank you that this transition is guided entirely by Grace.
Thank you for this moment of perfect breath, perfect silence, as the waves loom behind and before.
Thank you that the waves enfold and caress us as they pound even now upon some far, new shore.
Thank you for all that may yet be.
I choose gratitude. I choose grace. I choose the finest, most minute filaments to be lit as beacons within me, that Divine Alignment may never be ignored in any form.
Thank You, for the choicepoint windows of alignment that are ever in Presence, are ever present, in this moment and in every moment as new worlds dream to be.

~Let's Talk Towers ~

The Tower card and the Moon card are images (here from the Rider-Waite) from the Tarot that teach the meaning of portals, of moving through challenges, of letting go into flow. They also have reference to many ancient / esoteric traditions... the moon pillars to Boaz and Joaquim, the pillars of duality (loosely translated, to be sure). The pillars of duality must be transcended at EVERY level for true unity to occur. This is generally a multi-lifetime process.

In our current lifetime, we have the opportunity to move thru an infinite series of such portals from within a flow of grace. This is, quite honestly, why most 'conscious' souls incarnated into this particular lifestream at this time.

An image of the 'tower' that persists in shadow form is beautifully illustrated by story in the Ramayana, of Rama/Sita/Ravanna. In the story, Rama and Sita are incarnations of Vishnu and Lakshmi, archetypes of sustainable divine manifestation and abundance, respectively. Ravanna is the 'demon' archetype who steals Sita (the archetype of abundant flow) and imprisons her in 'his' tower.

This is story of dharmic alignment... of the old cycle truth of following one's dharmic path through a particular incarnation with integrity. In the vedic traditions, as in many others, dharma is like one's role in a play or position on a team. For the play to go well or for the team to win, each person must "stay in character" or "play his position." If each thing in the universe does its dharma, the universe functions smoothly. When people or things violate their dharma, things fall apart.

With the current cyclic shift, all roles, all positions are also shifting. This brings up shadow aspects of our previous dharmic roles, rules, and responsibilities that would never have come to light (literally) without this shift.

So, the tower image, for example. The fear, in collective consciousness, can be that, although the tower in which Sita is imprisoned by Ravanna is a structure or vibration of lower energy, she holds her integrity, and waits for Rama, (the archetype of the Divine Warrior of Integrity) to follow that attraction path and rescue her.

There is a place in our modern psyche that regards this tower, in whatever form, as a protection. So, the dualistic archetypes of Rama/Ravanna are two sides of the same Lila, or cosmic dance. Sita holds her alignment in the certain knowledge that it will attract the solution (Rama's rescue of her) and this is dharmic indeed. HOWEVER, there is a shadow in the modern collective where the tower also becomes a place to 'hide'.

The Tower, when subjugated into this equation, becomes the duslistically held structure of both a prison and a protection and NOT the symbol of strength, courage, and dharmic integrity that it was originally intended to be.

The voice of this shadow could be said to say "I am letting the Ravanna archetype imprison and thereby control my energies, so that the Rama archetype (the other side of the coin) can 'rescue' or 'save' me... BUT... there is terror, heartbreak and resistance to being 'outed' as it were, because that would require full diligence in dharmic aligment." In other words, "i" (little 'i' used consciously) would have to be a mature, spiritually integrous tower in and of mySelf. Ever faced this? We tend to have this program very covertly stashed away, in a place we refuse to venture into.

This MUST be cleared from our programmed unconscious for all of the archetypes to move into new dharmic alignment, playing the new roles they came in to play for this Shift, full-filling Divine Play, Divine Agenda, in this unprecedented lifetime.

In other words, we have to allow the archetypes of Ravanna/Rama to release their shadow aspects (that have occurred over our souls' histories and were not originally intended) within us so that we can resume the Divine Play in a more evolved and truly authentic dharmic alignment... so that these archetypes can do the same within us.

So, how is the 'tower' playing out for you? Where have you unconsciously chosen to 'hide' or 'be safe' even while you are courageously standing for truth? These are the archetypal shadows playing out in today's world. As we release them from within ourselves, they cease to play in our lives, in the vibrations we radiate, and in the world as well.

~ Ferocity of the Heart ~

Sometimes, like Mrs. Brisby in the Secret of Nimh, courage of the heart is tested mightily. In the film, Mrs. "B" is told "Courage of the heart is very rare"...and so it has seemed to be in this cycle that is now completing. What does that mean? What is Fierce Compassion? How does it reconcile with harmlessness, with healing, with the sincere desire of the heart to 'heal', to love and/or bring about the healed reality? One of the 'secrets' hidden in duality is just this. There is no 'either-or'.

In unity, exists all things, all vibrations, all responses. What is appropriate to the moment is what MUST be expressed, be accomplished, be revealed and embodied.

For years I studied the warrior arts, acquired accomplishment in wielding weapons of 'self-defense', rather than offense, of protection and service, rather than invasion, annihilation and cruelty. Then, I studied the Heart. The "Way of the Warrior" IS a path of coming home to the heart. Not the only one, by any means, but certainly 'one' "way". One road 'home'.

The secret lies within the heart herself. There is no 'either/or'. There is no duality. Only the inner core essence, the Spirit within can guide the dance of unity. What is a 'weapon' in the hands of one being, is a healing tool for another. Only the heart can truly discern.

To cast away warrior skills 'in service to the heart' is a false casting. It is half of an open-ended equation whose learning curve is currently steep on a good day. A fully opened heart is NOT a vibration of unconditional access without boundaries, nor can it be so within the transition, the shift, the 'beginning that is nigh'. The skills needed for the transition encompass the all, inclusive of what have been called 'psychic warrior' training.

What is the reconciliation of the sword, the shield, and the place where these do not exist? It is Ferocity of Heart. Sometimes known as 'fierce compassion' this invincible flow of love is neither aggressive nor has it cruelty within its vibrational component. It is not a force 'against' nor is it 'for' ~ both of which are fixed positions implying a split in duality. It is the inner knowing that holds sanctity of spirit in its appropriate space of reverential light. It is the honoring of, perhaps forming of ~ for the first time ~ healthy energetic boundaries on which can be hung appropriate shields.

It is said that "when the light of ten thousand suns enters the body, the inner radiance becomes its own protection... those able to revere and honor this light will see and understand; those unable will be blinded by its radiance..." ~ sufi, anon

And, as a part of this learning, this process, this embodiment, walls come down, and boundaries replace them. This is the reality of Mastery, the embodiment of light, of truth, of wisdom, in the face of whatever comes. Held in love, in and from the heart, with no vibration of conflict, competition or judgement. Fearless and 'armed' with an appropriate 'no' should dissonant energies arise.

This, we are learning to hold, the synergy of solar and lunar lightstreams, the merging within of healed and protected, the embodiment of divine sovereignty.

Within the transit, as the veils thin toward samhain, and the mayan calendar breathes its last within an ending/beginning cycle, our discernment and boundary skills are not only needed but non-negotiable. Allow the resurrection of the "peaceful way" that transcends the need to fight, fly or freeze and simply flows ~ holding within it the appropriate application of whatever tool may be necessary for Love to be Sovereign, inclusive of boundaries, shields and 'swords'. In the samurai tradition, 'sword' is synonymous with 'spirit'. Would we cast it then away? Or perhaps allow Spirit to be wielded through us, in whatever way is deemed appropriate in the moment, by the Divine within.

May we re-member ferocity of heart & all of her skills and boundaries ~

~ Happy Navaratri ~

Welcome to the 'nine nights' of the Goddess! In the vedic traditions, today's new moon also heralds Navaratri, the festival of the Creatrix, honoring the Goddess energies in 3 of her traditional forms ~ these three forms are Durga, the Invincible Force, slayer of negativity, Lakshmi, wielder of all that is abundance, beauty and good fortune, and Sarasvati, holder of wisdom, music, creativity... each aspect of the Goddess energies receiving honor for 3 nights. Today begins the cycle with Durga, the Invincible Force of love ~ that nothing can withstand. This sweeping wave of Truth clears all else from its path, and thus, if it is invoked, from ours.

How many of us, faced with the above roadsign, would do whatever it took to shift lanes, take that exit, put ourselves on the path of Truth, no matter where it might lead? I will always take that road. I have made that choice so many times, in so many forms, and for so many lifetimes now that it no longer feels like a choice, but the 'only option'. Truth is a funny thing. It is subjective until it is not. And that, as they say, is a very long journey ~ or a short one, I suppose, depending on one's point of view.

So on this new moon morning, a new moon in Libra, the first day of the Goddess' celebrations, focused on our inner relating, I asked again. If this roadsign loomed before me, as truly it does in every moment, are there any aspects of self that would swerve in the other direction? Put on the brakes? Blow a tire? Allow the engine to break down? The metaphor is usually felt in the body. Our physical 'vehicle' for navigating life. Are there patterns left in the physical or emotional body, still, that might choose a delay at the very least, because "truth hurts" or "truth will make you mad" or "truth....(fill in the blank)"...Are there patterns that would choose a breakdown at the mere appearance of this choice? And if so, may I find the compassion within my being to provide an alternate flow of information so that Truth may find its place?

Happily, this morning, there were none of these voices in evidence in the body, as it is happily recalibrating in a very new energy. Celebrating with the Goddess archetypes a new way of being ~ in health, in safety, in unabashed, unhidden, relationship AS ONE. "Human" in appearance only, pretending no more. Moments such as this are precious to me. I am grateful. Grateful for the trees we walked through at sunrise, for the creature beings we saw and felt along the way, for Surya, the sunrise itself, for the surface world, such a miracle in this universe, and for Divinity in the body, at what seems like long last.

May we all consider deeply and well the choice for Truth, what it may hold at any moment, and the gifts along the way!

~September 'Sussing'~

Sometimes We All Need Sorting

Sometimes we all need 'sorting'. This month, September 2011, is about withdrawing inward and BEING that. I was reminded, this morning, of the Sorting Hat from the Harry Potter books by JK Rowling. In the books (and films) the hat 'sorts' each new student into a community or 'house' by the qualities it reads in the 11-year-old energy field. I have recently been observing how my inner 11-year-old might still be influencing the 'sorting of myself', a Self which no longer identifies with anything fixed, especially the 'tween self whose body imprinted life in a way that furthered its (the body's) survival.

I now have a 'new' processing technique that seems to help. Our bodies may be ready and able to let these deeply imprinted programs release, but they hold on, unwilling to let go, for survival and safety reasons. This pattern (usually energy at this point, that becomes mirrored in our environment(s) now because it is time to let them go) holds on because it was imprinted, taken in, with the belief that 'this keeps the body safe'. From the family of origin circumstances, usually. As I looked at this pattern, putting the sorting hat figuratively on my own '11 year old' head, and saying "Ok now, where is the sorting taking you?" I felt the body vote for its own safety. A survival program. These programs never want to let go, because they are programmed to function as a safety mechanism for an old circumstance. The downside, in this shifting time, is that they now, because all things are changing, draw in that very same pattern because drawing in the pattern or behaviour from someone else, and triggering into defending against it, makes the body feel 'safe'. Illogical, but there it is. Imprinting rarely makes 'sense'.

How to release these? The sorting hat helps immensely. I was sitting in meditation, asking the body if it really wanted the 'hat' - whose energetic presence on my head is still making me giggle - to use THIS PATTERN as a means of sorting things out... me, specifically. The body emphatically thought NOT.

So there is a place to begin. Let the body understand that a new sorting is taking place, almost constantly, and the old, 'safe' places are no longer so. Allowing the body to tell me what it would rather the 'hat' use as sorting criteria gave it, the body, a reason to open to willingness to allow a new energy to move in and begin to 'sort out' or 'suss' as some of us say, an openness to the new ways that will shift and morph and change and move the body through the transitions that awareness has committed to taking.

On this 5th day of September, whose energies are those of allowing, I can highly recommend 'talking to the hat'... tongue firmly in cheek here, with a large grin on my face, giggles bubbling up, and Fawkes, the phoenix of resurrection circling my 'office'.

May you allow this portal through the full moon (9/12) to sort you in new and delightful ways! And may Fawkes be present to guide your resurrections!

New Moon and Co-Creating

~Finances, Fear & Failure?~

With this past weekend and the astrological squeeze into the Virgo new moon last night (8:04P PDT) the collective was squeezed into (and not through yet) its 'worst fear' scenarios around fiscal support. Yes, we are talking about money. Where will it come from? There is never enough... how can I afford???

There is a core trauma leftover in the collective at the cellular level, leftover from the post-WWII generation(s). It is no one's fault. Those who went to war or whose siblings did, were imprinted with lack, poverty consciousness and fear of failure. "Honor" and dignity went with being 'solvent' even if solvency came at the price of 'losing everything'. Sounds like a contradiction? It is! A paradox of the heart: It is noble to sacrifice my material well-being for spirit, for others... and... if I do that I will be perceived as worthless and a failure, insolvent... in one way or another. This paradox, or double bind, this financial/spiritual deadly embrace is being pushed to its limits - the polarity stretched to the breaking point - by the current astrology and Gaia's ascension process. In other words, it is 'up' for everyone... even those who feel they have processed 'money' and have no more issues.

What needs to be released fully and freely into the arms of the divine is all limitation, all duality in love/money where fear can find a way to control the flow.

If your mind is boggling a bit, good! It is the mind and its domination of the body that are running this show. We must allow our cellular genetics to release the enmeshment of spirituality, honor and integrity with poverty, lack and/or failure and pretention of any kind.

Divine Mother does not judge based on status, merit, nor even on our quality of heart. She IS infinite heart quality. And so, as we let ourselves be held in Her embrace, embodying AllThatIs, we become the unity field within which all things are aspects of love... including money... down to our cellular 'fingertips'.

Allow the cellular trauma to begin to understand that it is not truth. It is the child of fear, and the Great Mother can only LOVE... even the fear.

We are held. We are ONE. We are not alone and broken. We are held within the support (FINANCIAL AS WELL) of divinity.

I choose to trust this. I choose love... AS financial support, not in dualistic polarity with it... why not be an embodiment of financial abundance? What a wonderful way to be of service?

Flowing with the River

I spent yesterday morning on the river. A rafting trip, 'guided' by a friend and spiritual sister. Four women, flowing with life. I asked one of my friends what her favorite part of the experience was and she replied " I liked the parameters, the finite components of it. There is a 'put in' location, a 'take out' location, and a guide who knows the river, knows where all the rocks are, and does most of the work ~ and I got to be totally in the moment, responding to the water - the flow". It struck me so deeply the metaphor for life - for incarnation.

In each incarnation, each lifetime, there is a 'put in' location, a 'take out' location, Spirit knows the currents, the rocks, the challenges, when to tell us to 'paddle!', to 'dig deep', and when to just go with the flow. We need only respond in the moment.

When we pushed the raft into the river, it took about 20 seconds for one of the other women to grin at me and say "happy". I concur. I step onto / into the water and everything I AM says "happy". There is only the flow. There is only immersion in nature's oneness. And that, my friends, is how I choose to dream my reality. This is how I choose to live. This is life. Immersion in flow ~ immersion in oneness. Spirit is always guiding; She knows the currents, She knows where the rocks are, and She cherishes our journey, every one. We are Her embodiments, if we allow ourselves to BE.

Water is a blessing. As are the currents of our lives.

8:8 Lion's Gate!

Transiting the Lion's Gate

Today is 8:8. Yesterday was the exact cross-quarter for Lughnasad, the 6th spoke on the wheel of the 'year'. This is the spoke of disseminating light ~ of being full-filled with Grace and allowing it to flow from us. The Lion's Gate is, traditionally, the alignment of Sirius and our Sun (Ra). The temples along the Nile still align with Sirius, even though centuries of precession have passed since they were built and originally aligned. The star Sirius (which is a dual system, A & B) is said to be the embodiment of Isis, an embodiment of the mysteries, of magic, of the miraculous, and of the Great Mother of us all.

Our earth, beloved Gaia holds this embodiment as well... quarantined and monitored though she has been, she is now moving through her ascension into that of 'stardom'... it is Her time to Shine!

Aligning in and with the Lion's Gate is aligning oneself with the stellar downloads currently, hmmm, a litte intense?? ;o)

A way to hold these flows of Grace with integrity, ease, and a bit more comfort, is to let them pass through you. Release any fears of abandonment, of being 'left behind' or of 'not getting it'. Gaia absorbs all. Align with our Earth Mother, embrace her with the totality of all that you are... remember and reverence her divinity. And flow with the currents!

Stellar Light Ignited!

Fluidity in Creative Fire

This week, there was an 'extra' transmission in the "Friday" Divine Feminine Transmissions series: a 'fifth' download for the moon cycle that ends right now as I write this..at 12:42P mdt, the new moon alignment happening right about now.

I thought to send it along here as well, as the opportunity that awaits us at this time of transition and awakening is the alignment inward, deeply inward, with our creative fire elementals - our personal 'salamander' guides - and with the outer reflection of the inner light. Like my friends here above, flinging ourselves into the light in timing with the wave of Grace we now find ourselves held and emcompassed within.

~ What is being illuminated? ~

Within each moon cycle, awaits the opportunity for receiving and releasing illuminations. The new moon / solar eclipse of 1 July, 2011, both ended and ushered in a cycle of illuminations ~ that which we call time. Funny thing, time. It is truly only a system of demarcation. A way to share calendars. In Divine Timing, there is only the All. At each new moon we broadcast our intentions into the omniverse, giving thanks for the receiving of signs, of all that we intend... hopefully including divine timing in the feedback loop! The larger the initiatory cycle, the more we can receive as illuminated, in completion, in newness and in form.

There is a reversal happening here and in the NOW. "I receive, I release". Inbreath... outbreath. The learned, conditioned behaviour of emptying out in order to be filled is changing. As we allow the illumined spaces of this full moon window to be received within us, they evaporate and release more that no longer serves.

~ The Councils Have Spoken ~

For yesterday's New Moon, the initiation into the upcoming Pluto-Uranus squares, which will re-shape our reality, a transmission came through. I am beyond honored to be able to share it with you!

"We, the Shoshanna, the order of the Blue Rose, the Pleiadian Council of the Heart, the Sirian Council of Light, in collaboration for the well-being of Gaia, speak to you now. Deflection or Transformation?

Using the Cocoon versus Deflections & Projections

My new eBook, Held in the Heartspace, is now available! One of the reasons for putting these transmissions from Spirit in writing was the use of the 'second' space, the second layer of mystical container, called the cocoon. Many who have taken the Embodying Fluidity classes can attest to how using the cocoon for transformation has changed their shadow work and their lives.

The cocoon is meant to take the place of the physical body as the vehicle for process. Where we used to pull energies into our bodies and transmute the toxins, the cocoon can now provide that function, relieving our physical bodies of the strain of processing and de-toxing the transition energies. This is simply too much for our bodies to handle. We need to honor our physical vehicles by allowing them to release the 'load-bearing' of transmutation, into this transformative field.

The Heartspace triple space is an alchemy of Spirit, a Gift from the Divine Mother specifically for this transition time. The cocoon layer serves as the vehicle for transformation... not deflection or projection. We often want to push unwanted energies away from us, and can want to use the cocoon for this purpose as well. Energies that do not resonate with us DO go into the cocoon, but are invited there, not to be 'dealt with' or punished, killed or deleted but to be transformed into energies that DO resonate within us.

The Heartspace energies are those that nurture, nourish, support, acknowledge, appreciate and cherish the Divinity that moves through us. Any other energies, or energies pretending to do these things, move into the cocoon to be transformed by the Divine Mother. She determines, through Divine Alignment and entrainment, what the 'new job' of these energies will be and what happens to them. It takes the ego out of the equation.

When we 'push energies away' into the cocoon, we are still using ego. When we allow them to be transformed there, asking that any misperceptions on our part be corrected, we are in alignment with this Gift from the Divine.

~ What will we make REAL? ~

What does it mean to be 'real'? It isn't just about honesty, it isn't just about transparency... maybe it isn't about any of those things at all. Truth is subjective, 'from a certain point of view'. TRUTH, is something I committed to before I knew what commitment meant. I felt it in my core, my bodies have resonated with it, it is an ever-changing, ever-rippling wave of evolutionary luminosity that informs as it transforms us all.

This is a dreaming cycle, this period of transition. What will we make real?

Will we continue to focus on the negative? Will we polarize 'for' the light or the shadow work? We need do neither. TRUTH is the way...and the increasing Light. The flow of TRUTH holds us all. So what will we make REAL? What is real? We are at a choice-point of creative virtuosity. The past is so very past. There is no future. There is NOW. What will we make REAL? What would LOVE choose? Remember, in REAL and LOVE there is no 'ugly'.

~ The Louder the Storm, the more Imperative the Whisper ~

The first eclipse in the current Trinity has moved through our window of time/space continuum. Its next phase, at the full moon, is almost upon us. The third tripod seat of this Trinity window is coming at the new moon at the first of July.

Eclipses hide the obvious within ourselves. These overlapping (Trinity) windows provide an opportunity for listening, looking deeply into the whispers within ourselves. Which selves answer? Which selves listen? Which aspects of self still want to shout or pout or tantrum?

Within each of these programmed portions of divinity we call parts of us, lie treasures whose locked chests lie open in the eclipsing 'darkness' - the deep, soft enfolding in the Mother's arms. Listen to the inner whispers. Listen to the inner shouting whose voice(s) you have drowned out for so very long!

One of my favorite films has this line in its screenplay: "If you were a house... this is where you would want to be built. On rock, facing the sea... LISTENING". We are all in this place at this intersection of space-time evolution. On quicksand... facing the inner seas... hopefully listening.

May we listen well and deeply and flow with the currents that evolve this world!

~ Marbles: Lost and Found ~

Years ago my spiritual teacher handed out small talismans to a group of students. They were little, catseye marbles, you know, the little cheap kind that have a paint swirl in the middle, that come in 'marble sets' for games. He said that those going through deep shifting, big changes, sometimes did better with a talisman to hold onto. He had assigned Stephen King's book, The Talisman, that trimester, so I suppose this was an extension of the teaching. I honestly don't remember.

The task was, to take the blessed, shakti-charged, marble and have it available for the intense times, the trauma releasing (although he did not know that terminology perhaps) and shifting into the unknown. We were to hold it and feel the Divine Connection, even when that felt impossible. He said that if we did that, we could, through his energy field, connect to the Divine, no matter what. There are many such talismans in this world: malas, medallions, special rudraksha beads, and on and on.

I put mine on a tiny, vibrantly purple, velvet pillow, designed to hold gemstones. It DID look a little silly, this cheap little marble, held in its royal nest of velvet on my altar...meaning something completely different to me. I kept feeling "I can do this myself...the Divine is within me...perhaps this is a tool to make that point?"

A couple of years after that, in the process of moving house, yet again, I placed the talisman in a special box with its cushion, tucked it away in a shoe box that held my pink satin, sequined, high-heeled cha-cha pumps; the ones I wore with a special purple, pink and copper sequined cocktail dress - purchased especially for dinners with my teacher. I do this frequently; putting something away 'someplace special' so I will always know where it is. And, just as frequently, can't find things ever again when I do this! Spirit hides them. It has become a game we play.

During the move, or shortly thereafter, I donated many of my 'dress' items to a benefit sale...I actually do not remember donating that particular dress (nor the shoes that went with) to the occasion, but the timing fits. Of course the talisman disappeared.

What I did not know at the time, was that our Earth Mother was changing, re-balancing, re-stabilising herself in a flow of yin-yang energies that represented the tiniest shoots, the first new springtime of the 'new earth'...and I was moving on...leaving my teacher of 13 years. At this time I did not know this, only that something had changed and my talisman had left me. It was not sad, exactly, nor did I have those moments of panic we have when something dear to us moves on. It was just 'odd'. I DID look everywhere, even in the shoe box, to no avail. Spirit had removed the touchstone from my grasp.

I remember the day I noticed it had gone. I told my then business partner "I lost my marble"...she began to laugh. Hard. She studied with the same teacher, so she knew the context, but still, it was funny. Only one left, apparently, and it had gone. Bye-bye marble(s). Bye-bye mind. And it was 'true'. That was the beginning of letting go of projected spiritual authority. I did not recognize that then. As with so many downloads, the understanding came later.

This past week I was out for our morning jaunt with Roshini, the furry Princess. Here, in the mountains, we whisper-sing our morning love to the directions, the elements, the devic realms, the angelics and the deep Goddess energies of the earth. It had begun to snow, so we turned back to the house a bit early. There, on the side of the road, half-hidden in wet earth, something flashed crystalline blue. A marble. A 'clearie' this time, beautiful Divine Mother blue. As I picked it up, wiping it on my jacket, I felt a deep inner chiming. "Complete". I am never sure what that means, as consciousness, in my observation, expands and evolves continually... however...

I have been in a cycle of remembering, of owning, of the learning of soul-sovereignty. The Divine Mother has held my hand, held me up, healed me, shifted and changed me. I was too over-balanced in the patriarchal paths. There is truth there, of course... but for me, the choice had been different. I chose balance. I chose truth... so long ago that only my core remembers.

That morning I had asked "Mother" "What shall we co-create today?" as she has taught me to do. What I heard was "embodiment". And yes, Her embodiment has been my aspiration for long lifetimes of learning.

The little blue marble, so clear, so pure, so simple, now sits on our Goddess altar. A tiny talisman of embodiment... 'mine' and 'Hers'... from one aspect of Divinity to another...the micro of the macrocosm. On this, Her dear, Blue Earth. A token only, yet a confirmation all the same. I am grateful.

~ Comfort Zones

~ What are they Really? ~

I have witnessed a lot of talk recently about moving past comfort zones... pushing people past them, how the Shift will do that... so I have found myself turning the witness deeply inward (the only place that really 'works' for me, at least) to observe... where, really, is the 'comfort zone'? What does it look like? Feel like?
For most, it is a place where our inner whatever feels 'safe'. So, first, I looked there... what part of me needs to feel safe? That was the first clue.

Inner statements that make you go 'hmmmm'. The question, from awareness, was observational. The feeling response was, if I am radically honest, from the place of the inner Judge. Well, little brat, what part of you still needs to feel safe? That's not why you came here! Hmmm. So I looked at that inner structure.

And REALIZED... 'my' comfort zone, the hangout of the ego, is DISCOMFORT, which can segue "zero to sixty" into self-punishment, self-torture, et al, which are all symptoms of self-hatred. Do I really still 'hate' my own (perceived as) weakness? Apparently.
Well that bites. I have lived a warrior's life, pushed myself 'beyond limits' and what today's insight is, is that it came from my spiritual commitments, yes. AND, the ego has co-opted this feeling into something it can beat 'me' up with... Again with hmmm.

Yesterday, my friend Lynn said "I was...and suddenly realized I was feeling something I had not felt in a long time... and I realized I was HAPPY!". This week I have had that same experience. It feels a little like "Oh yes, I remember..." what is actually just 'happy'feels like ecstatic buoyancy to the body, that has endured my self persecutions for decades now. Hmmm. NO, no visceral mortifications, the idea of hair shirts and beds of nails never appealed... well, maybe the nails, on a really weird day. So, hey, that's martyrdom... why? Is some sort of sacred/sainted/silly martyr 'my' comfort zone? I asked this, in all integrity, and got 'no'... that part has been worked through.

HOWEVER, the 'comfort of discomfort', is still an internalized fear of back-sliding, of hearing one of my teachers' voices saying "comfortable is complacency and that will get you every time"... hmmm. So comfort was anathema, to this piece of 'selfness'.

My choice, in this moment, and for all moments going forward is to release the attachment to discomfort, release the choice to do the 'uncomfortable' (just another face of 'doing it the hard way') and find the authentic flow of ecstatic authenticity that TRULY supports all aspects of the Divine that my core knows we all are.

Just a few thoughts for a Friday.

Embodying Inner Trinity

~ Are you ready to walk Divnity? ~

Over the past three years a transmission has gone through me ~ that of "Trinity". We have many traditional images for this "three as one" divine concept. Father-Mother-Child, Father-Son-Holy Spirit, the Triple Goddess (Maiden-Mother-Crone) - although we need to add "Queen" somewhere in between the Mother/Crone aspects at this point, Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva, Kali/Durga - Lakshmi - Sarasvati...San Qing (Taoist Trinity) comprised of the Celestial Worthy of Primordial Beginning, Celestial Worthy of Numinous Treasure and Celestial Worthy of the Tao and its Power, and the list goes on. EVERY tradition has this conceptual triple personification of the Divine. Our human minds seem to need these categories, or LIFE seems so very BIG that we cannot conceptualize its essence.

What is being asked, at this time, is to walk our embodiments. We do that always. We do that 'anyway'. We walk our belief systems, our habituated behaviours, our self-identity.

It is time to walk, to embody, our divinity... and we will each do this from our innermost essence, our core, our signature vibratory frequencies. Doesn't that change? Yes! Emphatically, yes! And isn't that half the fun? As we learn and evolve and shift - and the shifting is intense, immense and currently so very present ~ we vibrate differently. ALWAYS. Almost every moment. And yet - and yet...

When we get to our core essence - having stripped away whatever else (or so it seems - giggles aplenty) it is time to let go.

Having chosen to align my personal will with divine will over and over and over and over... and having shed lifetime after lifetime after lifeline within this one incarnation, it is suddenly/continuously mandated/gifted that core essence is what remains. What to look for? What to live for? How to BE? What IS this luminous core and how would 'she' like to orchestrate the remaining incarnation?

The embodied Trinity essence plays itself over and over, an insistent inner chorus "Intuition, Instinct(body wisdom) and Inspiration". I have spent a lifetime paring down, carving away, shedding, and polishing, for this... this very fragile beginning, after so very many beginnings, this super-awake newness that opens its unveiled eyes in STRENGTH and COURAGE and a long-remembered, long-awaited sense of very quiet 'now'. And what could be more 'normal' more 'me'.... a concept that brings hysteria of the not-so-quiet kind. I kept my partner awake with it for most of the night... uncontrollable cosmic hilarity with apparently no end. "No more caffeine for you" was the response, as I shook and quaked and chortled my way through yet another dimensional opening.

How many times have I said "This?" "THIS - (whatever the aha or 'duh' was at the time) is "it"??? And here, at what appears (and we know that nothing is as it seems) to be unparalleled newness...a breath of silence, of the Stillness that pervades all movement. The inner smile that needs no cultivation. AGAIN. Still.

Intuition, Instinct and Inspiration. Inner unfoldment, opening into total guidance without the need for 'thought'.

The defender 'rests'. In gratitude. May every nuance of 'controller' do the same.

~ Walking the April Fool! ~

~ Welcoming the On-rushing Wave ~

Happy April! The image that leapt to mind this morning was the Fool card, my personal favorite being that of the Radiant Tarot (Rider-Waite).

If anyone has walked this card of late, it would be me!

A few years ago I had an Anam Cara reading (soul friend, for the non-gaelic-speaking) that showed I would have a sort of 'death' experience and a new life would begin. (As if this was the first time! yikes!) Having just had my dear soul buddy Kirin take his leave, I was not... thrilled? HOWEVER, as I was being initiated into unconditional truth and trust and utter positivity (thank you Baba for that expression) I took to heart what was said. Much of the reading involved this card, which speaks to me again today, this day of the April Fool!

The Fool has cast off all appearances of material / worldly support and strides freely toward 'his' destiny, his dharmic awakenings, with only a small pack and 'his' loyal canine companion. (Thank you Roshini!) Traditionally, there are mountains behind the figure in the card, but the resemblance to very large waves cannot be missed, especially in light of our planet's goings-on.

The 'waves' behind the Fool reminded me this morning of a scene from the Hollywood rendition of our times, the film 2012. This is NOT a film recommendation! I feel that film played on the adrenalin factor more than it played out truth. That said, there is one scene, where a Tibetan Lama (head abbot if I remember correctly) is awaiting the coming waves, and is shown striking a large gong high up in the Himalayas, as he calmly watches huge waves of water coming OVER the 20 thousand foot peaks surrounding him. It was one of those perfect moments. Wow. Look what Nature can do!

Today is known as April Fool's day in the western world, characterized by practical jokes and poking fun. This time the joke is clearly on us! What a gift to have a moment to laugh at oneself, to take a look at the quintessential silliness of all endeavors.

We plan, we worry, we.... well you know. And yet ~ there are such deeper goings-on that are RIGHT IN OUR FACES if we will only open our eyes in wonder and participate in all that is shifting and changing!

In Sumerian times, this moon cycle was associated with the 3rd chakra. Inanna (in her passage into the underworld as Venus) is required to give up her ring of power. Ring of power.... hmmm. Isn't there another story...??? A little chap called Frodo?

In Sumerian mythology, Inanna is required, through this act, to give up her PERSONAL power, surrendering the ways she no longer holds her power in balance and harmony, either because she is giving her power away to others, or she is afraid she will use her power inappropriately, or she is already using her power to control and manipulate others. The 'trusting' Fool, however, is looking to the heavens as he prepares, perhaps unknowingly, perhaps with complete trust, to step off of a cliff... taking a literal leap of faith.

For the past three years or so, this has been my livingness. Each day, each opportunity, each moment of living, taking that step onto... sometimes 'nothing' as the Divine breadcrumbs, lily pads, (forget branches!) appear only as my weight descends onto whatever has been next on the many converging and coalescing paths of this lifetime.

For this, I can only be transcendently, overflowingly, grateful. For each step, challenging though it may have been, has brought new blessings, new beginnings, and a 'new life' that remains 'yet to be'.

In this New Moon space, this 'day of the Fool' I smile at the Tarot card, joyfully joining this seemingly benighted adventurer, as we move as we are moved, live as we are shown, and ride this newest wave of infinity.

~ Bringing in a New Balance ~

Today the Equinox alignment happens, late this afternoon where I currently reside. Yesterday's full moon brought new openings and took much away. We are all feeling it. The new question: What is Possible??

So many are saying "I don't know who I am". Right. Times of shifting require both inner and outer morphing. We seem to lose a cherished piece of self, only to become more of our authentic Self. Such are the energies of this equinox.

It is time to soul shift. We are now receiving, in the mirror of life, very precise (although they sometimes come in fun house mirror distortions) reflections of our inner vibration(s). When I observe my reality construct, my current experience of reality on this world, I see a newly-shiny birthing world of integration and merging. Merging of intuition with Divine Guidance from what appears to be 'outside', as this has always been One. Matter and Spirit are merging within us, finally, finally, to a sense of Home... we are in this process. All of us.

What will work now, in this shiny newness, is nothing that has worked before. Duality is transcending into unity, and from this oneness, this knowingness, this mandatory level of Trust, we will morph into beings we have yet to meet. Beings who are not split, beings who hold integrated oneness at our Core. What works is to allow the awareness of being held, of being always Divinely Connected.

When the fear rushes up to try to keep us safe, we need to let it move through the heart. Have compassion for our own ignorance, our lack of knowing that we are cared for, always have been and always will be. It is our soul selves that push the purging energies through us at this time ~ making space for all that we truly are. Celebrate all that shows itself, even as the purging moves through.

At this alignment of New Beginnings and Balancing, may we feel the Presence that we are, and live it fully!

~ Welcome to the Ninth Wave! ~

I googled the ninth wave of the Mayan Calendar last evening, just to see what is out there. Wow! Just about everything one could imagine and then some!

When I do this, do a search for general information, it is an exercise in seeing. What resonates with the unique embodiment of Divinity that I AM, what does not. More and more, in these transition times, we need to come into the quiet of our inner silence, our inner resonance, that is often so still, it seems to have no motion.

Is this the 'last wave'? Well, for that particular cycle-tracking device, it seems to be. For creation? How could it be? How could a tracking device, though made by those who chose alignment with the grand design eons ago, be anything but a marker? A marker of a new cycle of becoming, of creative flow, that we have the ability to choose to align with, to co-create in alignment with, or to resist. I wouldn't choose the latter, personally… personally. What a strange concept these days.

As the furry princess and I went for our morning 'exploring', we felt the changes. She, sniffing them out in her own inimitable way, me walking between the worlds enjoying the shifting energies. "It's different today" she informs me. "Yes, I know" I grin along with her, as she naifs and tracks and follows the shifting lines.

A recent publication out of New Zealand actually shows that the earthquakes/rifts/ flooding/what have you were made by a waveform. It is mapped, geo-magnetically and electro-magnetically so that the waveform is completely observable. How very timely and, how cool! Coolness abounds these days/times.

I find a grin, a little serene smile without and within, as we ride these currents, allowing them to move us as the Divine wills it so. May we remember to breathe, to surrender into the stillness, to listen, and to enjoy the ride!

So mote it Be. Forevermore.

Riding the Ocean of Transformation

It is almost Sivaratri, the New Moon celebration of Siva. In the Vedas, this is one of the most auspicious days for releasing all that no longer serves (also known as karma). All-night vigils are kept, the night of this celebration ~ which falls on March 2nd, in the western hemisphere.

As we celebrate the 'mahas', the great archetypal divine energies, it seems important to remind ourselves that while we, the particles within the divine wave of creation, perceive 'in particular' all is truly oneness. All is truly united through the heart. My beastie companion, Kirin, used to say "when we come from the heart, we are all the same". And while we celebrate the 'maha' archetypes of our choosing, from whatever tradition, may we remember in our deepest beings that there is only ONE.

May we run into these waves of transformation with joyful abandon! May we leap to surf their might with trust and certainty. May re remember that what feels like pulsing, pounding, grinding down is the polishing of the many facets of the jewel within ~ all at once now, all at once now. It is time. And we are ready. It is this transformational fire and freedom we have longed for for lifetimes without end.
May we love and cherish these waves, as they bless us with their transformative currents.

May we remember Mother Kali who is also Siva, in Her omnipresent, all-encompassing Grace. May we remember that Divine is non-dual, that Unity has no gender, that Oneness, harmony with All Our Relations, is key, is vital, is the Way of the Heart.

May we invoke mercy, kindness, tenderness and Grace, for all beings, no matter how unconscious we may perceive them (ourselves) to be. May we truly surrender projections, judgments, and separation, while being true to the divine particle of our unique embodiment.

Such is my 'particular' wish on this almost-Eve of Maha Siva/Kali. May we re-member in wholeness and ascend into Love's Light. VaYaNaMaSi! (siva's mercy)

~ Full Moon of Evolution ~

~ Surrendering the Foundations of your Soul ~

So much is being said about a 'new' zodiac due to pole shifting, the 'facts' that it is NOT new... and the true issue lies within how we self-identify. Over the years of inner (and outer) work, I found that one can dismantle, dissolve, release and/or transcend (usually all of the above) one's foundational patterns. I have friends and 'consultants' who are of the astrological profession and honor it deeply. The truth of this transformational time, and especially this first of five potent Full Moons of 2011, is in how we allow ourselves to be identified. How are we projecting outwards, and what is the reflection showing us of which we are largely unconscious? How do we project internally, onto ourselves and our bodies? An interesting way to be in the Observer is to watch how you project onto a tree? A beastie companion? A friend? Then ask, how are 'they' reflecting my outward projections? How am I projecting the same way onto 'me'? And remember that the mind cannot know the truth. It knows only what it has been conditioned, taught, programmed to know. That is its job and a worthy one!

Stay within your light at all times. Confusion is a tactic used to distract and disinform those of us who have, long ago, chosen what is now called ascension. It is a distortion of truth, not truth itself. What we 'know' as our foundations, our 'blueprint' here on Gaia, is shifting, changing, morphing beneath our feet. Ecstasy in the letting go, a bit challenging wherever we cling.

Today's Cancer Full Moon (29 Cancer 27) at 2:21 pm mountain time brings an opportunity to begin to receive all that we have seeded through intention at the 'new year' and the New Moon on the 4th. It is a time to reflect inwardly on compassionate self-care that supports our ability to nurture Self, family and friends. Who are our family and friends? Who/what are we? Today's energies are both fruiting and fragile-feeling. The physical body lifts up deeply held emotional patterns we wish would not feel this way ~ and yet, did we not choose ascension IN the body, THROUGH it? I did. I remember. What do you remember? 'Today' is the window to take a look at our new moon intentions and hold them in gratitude of receiving, in joyful expectation of their inevitability as, even now, we refine them. For what does the heart yearn?

This IS the breakthrough, the transcendence, the ascension wave. Did we think it would feel differently? Did we really presume to know?

I have long asked for the 'body of light'. Today affords an opportunity to allow that, to surrender even the foundations of physicality, of identity, into a Beingness that can only be birthed in receptivity. Are all births not this way? How is the body unconsciously identified with the conception and the 'pushing' and so much less with the wave of creating?

~ Blessing the New Beginning ~

~ The Sunrise that makes You Smile ~

So here it is, another calendar year. I actually have fits of hysterical laughter at this particular turning - as it is completely and totally an artifice of the human realm. When is 'your' new year? 'Your' new beginning? Is there a 'right and proper' answer to this question? So, here I sit, wishing blessings to all the worlds from all of my heart(s) and wondering at this collective thing called 'new year'.

One of my favorite 'new year' traditions is at the Vernal Equinox, which is in March in the northern hemisphere, the traditions of Aide, or Nowruz... and honoring of all of the blessings of life, with a mirror put behind, to reflect the joys and abundance into a new cycle of living... or the Solstice alignment, June and December, which hold within it both the longest and shortest 'days' of starlight (our sun is a star, remember?) within a moment of time... and autumnal equinox, samhain, yule... the crossquarters so long unremembered for so many... so where is the pivot point? Where is the 'new' in this thing we call 'year'?

With this rising of our daystar, I find it in the rainbow sparkles of frozen snow outside my window, purple and blue and gold and green... in the sparkles of blue-white that stream through the frost on my windows... in the puffed-up cold-weather dress of the birds at the feeders... in the white light, the newness, of today's new heart.

The custom is to set intentions, 'resolutions' (silly thing, to demand change from oneself in this way) at a year's turning. 'Today' is a 13th moon in the Vedic traditions, a time of releasing. In the first hours of tuesday, 4th January, is a new moon and a partial solar eclipse (not visible here in the US) - another alignment of newness and new beginnings. A solar eclipse pulls the veils off of who we 'see' ourselves to be. The recent total lunar eclipse, just prior to the solstice, pulled the veils from our inner knowing. What do these changes mean? How can we ride this current of our Earth's changes into a newness so very, very new that we can not as yet conceive of nor imagine its shape or form. Or is it formlessness? I wonder.

May we dream well and consciously, as the living world is always listening ~ and our dreams of home are always manifesting, whether we are willing to see or not.

Happy 2011! An '11' year, a '13' year (no, not traditional numerology, but the fun of adding 2 to 11), and a '4' year... how interesting. And what forms are we taking for granted as we 'buy into' the numerical adding-up of our reality?

A new beginning is an inbreath, a chance to ponder, to wonder and to dream anew.

~ Celebrating the Solstice Cycle ~

Celebrate the Wave of Light!

If you are 'up on astrology' or even if you are not, you are most likely feeling that the upcoming Solstice, a bi-annual celebration of our Sun's journey along its ecliptic, is sure to be an unparalleled event in consciousness!

The full moon for this month forms in the wee hours of the morning (in the northern hemisphere), completed by a total lunar eclipse ~ a full moon cycle within a few hours' time! Following this cosmically speeded-up cycle, is the December solstice, winter in the northern hemisphere, summer in the southern.

Within each 'season' held in the alignment of the solstice window, is burgeoning abundance ~ especially of the light! Many sacred sites around our globe were built in honor of this spiral of light. The exact alignment occurs for but a moment, the window, for about two weeks' time, so we are in the midst of the transformation today, right now.

In inner vision, this solstice alignment is like nothing I have observed in this, or other lifetimes. ;) The moment of its inception appears as a supernova, a spherical wave of brilliant white light like none I have witnessed. I observe it in breathless wonder, as 'it' reminds me to 'breathe' and allow. This moment, and the window surrounding it (approximately a 'week' before and after) are OF the light! As the wave births and expands itself through our galaxy in alignment with the galactic center, hunab ku, the great mystery of all of life, we are forever changed. In what way? What do you intend to make real? Will we intend beauty, creativity, prosperity, abundance for all and in all ways? What will that look like? We have an unprecedented opportunity to wait and see!

For those of us who have long-awaited this turning, this transformation point, this choice point for our dear planet, the time is ~ finally ~ NOW. Time to intend in alignment with our galaxy, with the cosmic forces literally lined up to facilitate the changes. Time to flow with the glow! Enjoy the radiance as it lifts, cleanses, and shifts us from within!

~ Falling Into Ascension ~

Today the cycles and divestiture are in the offing.

Yesterday's transition in the Venus cycles, was the stage in the mythical/mystical journey of Inanna, where she adorns herself with full ceremonial regalia and begins her journey into the Underworld. When she reaches the first gate she is told she must enter the underworld like everyone else and is required to give up one of her vestments. This first gate on the deepening journey represents the 7th chakra where she is asked to give up her crown.

The first gate is also known as the Gate of Divine Authority and the release of her crown represents the release of any distortions she has with her direct connection to spirit and the divinity that she innately is. Succinctly put, she must relinquish any remaining spiritual ego, any misperceptions of the Divine essence that she currently embodies. She must release the 'crowning glory' she has worked so diligently to attain.

In Sobonfu Some’s book Falling Out of Grace she says:

"…If we are going to achieve our purpose in life, we must be willing to fall out of grace and accept its lessons. When we feel righteous about ourselves or deny our brokenness, we are fighting against the higher states of grace that await us.

Here is something…I have had to learn over and over again through experience: To fall out of grace is a gift, one of the greatest gifts that one receives in life.

When we are in grace, we begin to take things for granted and we actually stop working on ourselves. Falling out of grace shakes us up. It reconnects us to the larger universe in order for us to see ourselves anew. It forces us to rediscover where our true center begins. And, to learn what needs to be set aside."

Returning to the mythical Goddess archetype, Inanna’s journey requires her to relinquish her divine knowing – making a full initiation possible. She is willingly embracing an invitation into the unknown and/or shadow realms while also releasing the references that have defined her past knowing of who she is. She is 'giving up to Grace' all that she knows herself to be.

This new moon is an opportunity to surrender what you know so you can enter into the unknown and grow in ways that wouldn’t be possible if you were not willing to brave the deepest inner journey.

Embracing our shattered, brokenness is not the same as indulging or wallowing in it! We make a conscious choice to divest ourselves of any self-righteous self-aggrandizement and simply 'be' as we traverse the realms of the unknown. Allowing the unknown to embrace us fully is the opportunity of this alignment.

It is the deepest letting go of all.

~ Dreaming the Future Forward ~

Today is yet another auspicious astrological alignment. Both Venus (planet of nurturing intuitive energies) and Jupiter (planet of infinite expansion) station direct today. What dreams, in seed form or as yet unrealized, are ready to manifest in nurturing, intuitively creative and expansive ways?

It is a time for revisiting the dream boards, 'want' lists, for refining, for taking an honest look at how our dreams are manifesting consciously and, more importantly, unconsciously. When I look around at my so-called 'life' there is so much to be grateful for!

As we dream our preferences and parameters forward, I find it is infinitely important to pause for a 'daily dose' of gratitude. Thank you, Divine Mother (Spirit, Source... God/Goddess, AllThatIs) that I live in a beautiful, safe, spiritual sanctuary. Thank you for beautiful old growth trees... for fresh water, for companions, human and beastie alike. For health, love, abundance, and the ability to truly receive and enjoy these gifts of living. Thank you for play. Thank you that I am 'new' each day. Thank you.

In looking over the lists and boards this week, I looked at how all I ask for, all I dream forward, is actually manifesting in the present. How am I responding to these things? Am I pushing some away because my unconscious is manifesting them in a way the conscious dreamer does not desire? Am I refusing to receive or resisting gifts that fling themselves at me at lovespeed? THANK YOU - to the Divine and to all of you ~ for witnessing the greatitude (not a typo) of dreaming forward.

The Yearning of the Goddess for Union with Herself

~ Portal of the Golden Dawn ~

Today is 11:!1 2010. Another large portal day, another window/wave of opportunity. Ho-hum. Another tiny insignificance of complacency making a futile attempt to surf the intensity. I woke, at 1:11 this morning, grinning from ear to ear. NOT the norm of late, and certainly a welcome relief. And yet, underneath the "oh another portal day" feeling is the panic, the anxiety of "yet another portal" - felt in the viscera, in the body, a reaction to great transformation felt as "Make it stop - just for a second, let me breathe - in the midst of DON'T STOP!!!! PUSH ME FORWARD!" And it is. We are. The momentum is ever-building, to what we cannot yet perceive and some of us can barely discern on the inner horizon.

The culling, sorting, purging dance that is upon us feels like a "last dance" between what truly 'feels good' in a way that honors forward movement (if there is such a thing) and what 'feels good' in a way that honors aspects of self currently in the death process. The dying aspects of self, those whose energies are committed to controlling, will grab onto anything, including old, outworn and long unused addictive patterns, to 'feel good'. Internal palliative care that is sad, tired, and 'works' for only moments before sliding away into the abyss that has opened for it. Choose to let it go. The abyss warmly receives the old into rest and a deep, deep knowingness that is the cusp of the Great Remembering. The controller curling up in the arms of rest, with the deep contented sigh of a child, whose long day of play is finally and now wearily at an end.

I choose the leaping, twirling, dance of my companion scottish terrier, of my inner and 'outer' dolphin friends, as delight spins through the body a reality birthing of joy. New joy, long-remembered joy. The co-creative joy that simply pours through us all, when we finally, finally stop trying to let go and get on with it. ;)

I feel, in every breath, this portal. Leap with us! Choose the joy! And leave behind all that is burdensome. All that is not this intensity of lightness, of truth and of... what the mind perceives as 'unknown'. How will it 'work'? The mind cannot comprehend, and thus, the old is revealed, in its last-ditch heroic efforts to 'make sense of' to codify and, sadly enough, to thus control.

What deepens is the feeling, the embodiment, of complete fluidity. The 'place' without fixed position. No boxes, no labels, of very few directions, and usually none at all. The place without a place, the visceral experience of unity in flow. So long remembered, yet yearned for through an eternity of 'other' experiences in creation.

The yearning inward, so strong, so claiming, owning, so very very present. Spread across worlds, and multiple various dimensions, the Goddess yearns within us - for union with Herself.

May this day of doorway, portal, and transformation, embrace and support us all!

Numerology note: 111 is a 'master number' indicating energy flow - amplification of the energy you are in with an increase in intensity.

11:11 is an observable phenomena that heralds the new cycle. It indicates a new phase of development, dimension or frequency of experience – a portal or doorway to pass through. ~

Happy Navaratri!

It is Navaratri, the celebration of the nine nights of the Goddess! There is a Vedic myth about these nine nights ~ whose energies hold the archetypal consciousness of the Trinity Goddesses and bring them fully through the Earth plane at this time.

The energies of the Triple Goddess are palpably present here on the earth plane at this sacred time - 10:10:10!!! The number 9 is the number of overcoming ignorance, of completion and of wholeness. The number 10 is a number of shifting consciousness... and today is 10:10:2010. An opportunity to transcend any ignorance still present in heart, body, mind, or spirit and to invoke the Blessings of the Goddess' infinite resources.

I have been experiencing resurgences of old, presumably dealt-with patterns in the ego and in the heart - levels of heartbreak that seemed long healed and moved into wholeness. There is a deep, deep clearing of the body and the physical life at the moment - so patterns that have truly been worked through are 'up' again.

The mistake is to assume we know this pattern - "oh I know that one..." and not to look at what is underneath it. The Divine Mother is holding our deepest core issues and wounds 'up' for us to allow them to be offered into wholeness - but our minds look for 'historical' patterns so that we will busily try to clear a false overlay on what truly needs to 'die' within us (our spiritual egos) in order for us to move through the portals that are now upon us and into the new reality we have the opportunity to create together.

Let the root, the core of what you are feeling in. Let it come. Let the heart seem to 'break' open yet again... yet again. We have not done this level of deep clearing in the lives of the past cycle. In this life, we must ~ or we must physically begin again. If we do not begin again in consciousness, the body will not withstand the onslaught of the transformations and changes we have asked for at this time.

Let yourself Love. Let it come. The power of the Goddess is infinite. She is helping us. She will take us through this if we allow and receive Her every Blessing.

Honoring Our Angels

One really should not sit down to write a blog without having something to say, I have always felt. Yesterday the blog wanted writing and I found myself having a day of deep quiet... and asking, as usual, how Spirit wanted to speak through me.

To my surprise it was ArchAngel energy that rose up. On second thought, 'of course' - today is Michelmas, the 29th of September. Here in Santa Fe, it is said that Archangel Michael's celestial city over-lights the Four Corners area, and so Santa Fe falls under the protective dominion of that celestial realm. I observe that I have never felt 'his' energy so intensely in the physical world as I have being here (with the possible exception of Mont St-Michel in France). So there must be truth to this. I was called here by Spirit to allow a series of completions to find me. As is often the case with perception, the clarity on these completions will undoubtedly come as hindsight. Patience seems to be the way of things as Divine Timing unfolds itself for all of us.

We are all affected by the archetypal energies of various kinds, whether we are conscious of this or not. I experience the Archangels as a kind of overlighting, Divine 'family' whose energies are so large the human mind cannot comprehend them ~ they can only be understood through the heart. Today is their 'honoring' day. A day to receive these energies deeply into the heart.

When we deny our angels, we deny love, we deny Spirit, we deny magic and the miraculous heaven that is here ~ right here ~ if only we choose to experience it. The price tag is giving up all of our old limitations and letting light run the show...

How many times have I acted out the fear of receiving, the fear of avoiding receptivity and the desire to avoid the inevitable pain... born of the old paradigm 'ways and means', whose rules obligated me (or so the mind thought) to take and transmute the pain, the illusions, in order to receive 'heaven' - 'someday, somewhere'. It is not truth. Not any of it. Heaven is right here, in this dimensional construct, if only we allow ourselves to receive its faster, lighter, loving vibration.

It is time to 'jump tracks' and receive a higher truth. Ask the angels! ;)

~ Inner Worlds Rising ~

~ Cultivating Courage ~
I will make of the Self, my own earth. Leaping down the rabbit hole, creating the reality that lights me up and makes me shine, along the way, as the small self is pretending to fall.

I have made it all fit into a backpack (pack, duffle, hatchback) for so long that I have become an expert at it ~ stowing the wisdom, the remembering, making it all fit, as I move from lifetime to lifetime, place to place, world to world. I have done this for so long that, when I am offered sanctuary, a ‘place for my stuff’, that thing we call ‘home’ on this world, I find I have none, save the treasured burden, carried for so long.

What would a world of soul-cherishing support feel like? A world where even the treasures packed away become irrelevant? We are creating these worlds for ourselves, for the future, even as the old cycle wanes and falls away.

Our inner worlds are rising, unfolding from within our packed-away envelopments. Psychology has called this phenomenon ‘making your outsides match your insides’. Funny thing is, they always do. The outer landscape always reflects the inner, in a funhouse mirror, twisted, nonsensical, illogical way.

I was reminded (from a retreat hosted by Charles Eisenstein), that the inner voice of vision (the voices from the backpack) loves to flow into language in written form. He calls this exercise ‘The beautiful world that I envision’ – or something like that. I probably don’t have the quote correctly. I 'remembered' it thirdhand. At this time of approaching Equinox, when the already-transparent veils thin ever further, I thought to share my vision.

In the world I envision, we allow ourselves to know what we know. It is ‘normal’ to be Self-referential. We no longer build from outside ourselves. We are building the new earth AS our Selves. What Self are you building?

The Self I am building lives the truth of who I AM, not who others need me to be. I hold the experience of living Beingness as do others, each in their own way. We live in ecstatic communion with nature in oneness with the Divine. Sacred reverence for all of life, including the understanding of the divine science that was called ‘miracles’ is the new ‘normal’. The elements, elementals, green world, and creature beings as well as those of what we used to call the ‘invisible worlds’ are recognized as our brother and sister beings. We know the essence of equality as the Divine cherishes us all.

Nature, in all her splendor, is revered as the life and breath of Gaia, our physical Mother. We would no more destroy the environment of our creature kindred, than we would that of our own beloveds. Communication with nature and other realities is always available. All habitats are honored and preserved. The true purpose of ALL lives, of all of life, is recognized and cherished as the evolution of consciousness itself. The Great Mother is once again known and honored in all Her forms, as the Source of All That Is.

We are open, intimate, and free. There is no concept of separation, only individuated essence held in healthy spiritual boundaries, from which we all learn and grow and perceive. These they called the ‘mystical’ realms. The worlds of ‘magic’ and ‘miracles’. In the world I envision, in the world in which I am now beginning to live, ‘practical miracles’ ARE the ‘new normal’.

What do you truly yearn for? Watch it manifesting as you dream it. Remember, what you yearn for, yearns for you. Celebrate this deep and powerful alchemy, as the portals move us through their hearts and centres into love.

The world will be as we ARE.

Embodying Fluidity

The art of fluid embodiment has taken up most of my personal and transpersonal bandwidth for some time now. In late Fall 2008, I was given a download, a transmission of instruction for embodying fluid states of awareness. I was told "This is for 2009 - and for navigating the Shift". At the time, the physical shift was only beginning on the planet, and mine was to completely re-write the course offerings on the Delphic Wave website. My support team was less than thrilled. ;)

The course modules serve to seed the establishment of a triple alchemical set of containers within which anyone can be held in the Heartspace, while all around us shifts and changes. It is. It has. The changes are upon us ~ within us ~ we are in the midst of constant morphing! Is it not amazing??

Hmmph. 'Not the word I would use' is what some listeners say. I have to grin even through the tears that grace my own cheeks these days.

It is not that some days are not challenging, in every possible sense of the word! but what Grace! What abundance! What a Gift these days!

I remember a river rafting trip during my early university years. I have always loved being on the water. It is a kind of 'home' that makes me smile with that cheek-splitting kind of grin that cannot be contained. On the day, the river was no exception. The rafting guides explained, at the start of the journey, that 'if you fall out of the raft, (and it happens all the time to practically everyone), pick up your feet, put them in front of you, let the life-vest hold your head above water and simply bounce off of anything that comes at you'. I remember him saying this with a huge smile, as though this would be the greatest thing in the world. I took it in stride, as those were my athlete days.

The only photograph taken of that ride was moments after I had bounced out of the boat for the second time that day, and had somehow bounced back 'in' - so there I am, at the rear of the raft, paddle in the air, water streaming from my bum, looking totally ridiculous, out of control and completely inept. The rest of the raft 'crew' paddling mightily. I love that picture. Life is really like that, isn't it?

I recall the first bounce out of the boat when we hit a large boulder, sideways. It was a hot, late summer day and the water felt chilly and wonderfully refreshing. I lifted my feet, let the life-vest support me, and floated with the current, using my trainer-shod feet to push off of any obstacle that presented itself (large, rocky and literally in my face). It was totally and wonderfully fun. The guide was right! Held safely by the vest and my trainers, I was carried through the rapids and into the still bend in the river where lunch was being prepared. Great ride!

It was hot on that rock-face, eating lunch in the blazing sun, waiting for the ride to re-commence, for the river to take me 'home' again.

So here we are, in the current with no paddle and nothing but our mystical heart containers to keep our heads above water as the current carries us wherever She will.

It is a very different kind of ride - and yet, as the stillpoint calls us home, we may miss the turbulent currents that bring us the adventures, now and yet to come.

Enjoy the ride ~ as the obstacles disappear in front of us!

Surrendering into Love

~ The Moon is Full ~

She came into fullness early this morning (well, yesterday by the time this gets posted), middle of the night for a friend of mine in Australia. I was facilitating a POD alignment at the time, so we all got to partake of the moment of fullness on the other side of the world.

The full moon illuminates, shines a spotlight on the issues and alignments at hand. For all of us, everything is 'up' where we have not surrendered into love. This full moon, in particular, is spotlighting relationships and authority. In tandem with the Mercury retrograde, we are asked to inwardly communicate with our highest vibrations, our deepest inner truths, particularly those we have locked away and perhaps thrown away the key. A truth about relationships and authority is that, in a true soul-bond there is no such thing as 'authority' except for that deep inner authority within each party, aligned with Truth.

How am I certain of this? Practice. Eons of it. In a soul-bond we hold our inner authority, and encourage the 'other' to do the same. Each, a corner of a triangle pointed 'upward', walking our paths with heart, honoring the Source within first, within the ALL absolutely. In the age to come, no other honoring will be needed, no other authority perceived. It is what we have worked for, prayed for and endeavored for, for lifetimes.

The key is the heart, always. Whatever we 'lose' we have given back to love. For love is the only and always, the source of us all.

I recently made a conscious project of this. I opened the locked places, dug up the long-buried feelings and offered something I have greatly loved back to the Great Mother. At last, a part of me had found what it sought, or so it thought. Or so it thought. I had traveled from inner agony to the ecstatic realms in the arms of love, and yet - the unity had fallen short - been just out of reach, so very very present and yet... and yet... Releasing all commitments, all vows, other than this deep and conscious offering, with my heart opened fully, I offered this great longing back into the arms of the Mother of All. Releasing love into love. It kicked my ass. ;)

And yet - the Mother's love filled me and brought my tears from fullness, to simply LOVE. It is Her gift to us, if we choose to align with Her.

This does not mean aligning 'against' some other form of truth. That is not true alignment, that is 'taking sides'. Truth wears many guises. In wholeness, there are no 'sides'. This, I remembered, in the silent knowing that, as I have long remembered, so now it is time for letting go.

There is no more time. Time has broken. And the moon is full!

She asks us to open and receive, to be willing to open enough and to allow and to know not what we 'do'.

The Truth about (Un)Becoming

We, all of us, have trained our minds to believe in what is 'real'. What is real? The truth is that what is real is what we choose to 'make real'. That sounds like spiritual double-speak, doesn't it? And the truth is... nothing is more certain than this.

We sign up for the incarnational 'ride' to experience a virtual version of 'real' that we design. We have help, of course, from the Master Architects, until our souls remember enough and we have honed those skills.

What is real is what we choose. And when we tire of choosing, what then?

This excerpt from Adyashanti is very clear about the 'realities' of the path 'home', the path of un-becoming, of un-weaving and dismantling all that we have made real.

Full Awakening

"Through the process, there was a deeper, more extraordinary dissolution of the egoic self than I had previously experienced. It wasn't a dissolving like when you sit in meditation and your sense of self dissolves into a wonderful state of presence. It was more like someone was ripping layers off me, one by one. It was very unceremonious. It wan't nice, it wasn't kind, and it wasn't easy. It was existence shoving a mirror in front of my face and literally holding me there so I could not look away for even a second... I saw that what happens in the body and mind ultimately can't be avoided. Everything has to be dealt with - everything. Everything has to be seen through... I tell this story because everybody has a story.

We all have our own ways in which life is attempting to hold up a mirror, to squeeze the conditioned self out of us, to squeeze out of us the holding and grasping, to squeeze out all of our beliefs and ideas and concepts and self-images. If we are willing to look, we will see that life is always in the process of waking us up. If we are not in harmony with life, if we are working in opposition to it, then it is a rough ride indeed... When we are not willing to see what life is trying to show us, it will keep ramping up the intensity until we are willing to see what we need to see. In this way, life itself is our greatest ally. To think that enlightenment only comes through wonderful experiences is to delude yourself. For most of us, the path to enlightenment is not rosy. We need to acknowledge this, because otherwise we're only going to let ourselves travel toward that which feels good, that which supports our image of what the path of awakening should be. For most people, the path of awakening does have wonderful, profound moments and realizations. But it is also a gritty thing. It's not what most people sign up for when they say they want to be enlightened.

The truth of the matter is that most people who say they want awakening don't actually want to awaken. They want their version of awakening. What they actually want is to be really happy in their dream state. And that's okay, if that's as far as they've evolved. But the real, sincere impulse toward enlightenment is something that goes far beyond the desire to make our dream state better. It is an impulse that is willing to subject itself to whatever is needed in order to wake up. The authentic impulse toward enlightenment is that internal prayer asking for whatever it is that will bring us to a full awakening, regardless of whether it turns out to be wonderful or terrible. it is an impulse that puts no conditions on what we have to go through. This authentic impulse can be a bit frightening, because when you feel it, you know it is real.

When you have let go of all conditions - when you have let go of how you want your own awakening to be and what you want the journey to be like - you have let go of your illusion of control. In fact, we have to be willing to lose our whole world. That may sound romantic when you first hear it - "Oh yes, let me sign up! I'm willing to lose my whole world." But when your whole world starts to crumble, and you start to emerge from unimaginably deep states of denial, it is something altogether different. It is something altogether more real and gritty. It's something that some people sign up for and some people don't. This isn't a journey about becoming something. This is aboutunbecoming who we are not, about undeceiving ourselves. In the end, it's ironic. We don't end up anywhere other than where we have always been, except that we perceive where we have always been completely differently. We realize that the heaven everyone is seeking is where we have always been. Once again, what is required is a certain sense of honesty."

The Luminary and the Visionary ~ the Dance of Being and Doing

In this transit time of “much ado about everything” new awakenings are rampant, frequent, almost everyday occurrences. [For a discussion of the difference between awakenings and ‘enlightenment’ please see my previous post by Leslie Temple-Thurston. ]

What is non-hierarchical enlightenment? At first glance, this sounds quite attractive. And it is. Hierarchy is a concept form the old cycle and is part of the addiction to boxes and labels and classifications of form.

One might be attracted to this concept because “if it is non-hierarchical at least I won’t be on the bottom”, and/or “maybe I have a chance to be ‘make it to the top’ if there is no pyramid to climb and no rules to obey and no ‘class system’, etc. etc. ”... that is NOT it.

Non-hierarchical enlightenment in its first manifestations is begun in the dance between Illumination and Vision. Illumination, in its true formlessness, will attract the necessary efforts / actions for the space it holds, regardless of what ‘form’ (person, place, thing or situation) takes the actions or makes the efforts... luminaries tend to attract visionaries and visionaries are attracted to luminaries, because without the luminary the configuration of the visionary lacks purpose. In duality then, without the visionary, the luminary can feel ‘without purpose’ because s/he holds space for ‘nothing’. The visionary can feel ‘without purpose’ without the illumination that guides the vision. When these two configurations are not merged, are split, or held in duality, all kinds of misunderstandings and misalignments can occur.

Cosmic laughter here!!! In unity, the luminary IS the enlightened state and the visionary configuration allows that to flow into the current reality where consciousness is focused (remember they are ALL virtual) in a divinely guided way. Put another way, the awakened or illumined heart simply shines, guided by the singularity of the divine nature, and the visionary is the configuration that guides the taking of action or making of what appears to be effort in our reality of friction and movement and form. The illumined heart breathes ‘inspiritus’ into vision, which then creates form from formlessness, or formlessly guided form. (If your mind is still struggling with this, relax and let your heart take over ~ it will understand immediately and begin to let go.) Illumination holds the light, the space, and Vision holds the guided movement into form from formlessness. It is the inner marriage of the cosmic dance.

If we merge and reconcile the luminary and the visionary, still respecting the distinct energy configurations of each, what happens is that the luminary holds space for ‘space’ as ‘space’ (light, love, divine influx) and the visionary guides the flow of that into creation by whatever means s/he is guided to by merging with the inner luminary (which can out-picture in a person, place, thing, tradition, or any form that is helpful to that creative process). Creation itself initiates, supports, nurtures and drives this process.

From the Divine Feminine perspective, the solar feminine is the Source of the lunar... remembering that the lunar light is a reflection of the Source within, as in this reality, our ‘moon’ shines with the reflected light of the sun. Nature in collaboration with the Divine architecture of creation.

So, the merging of luminary and visionary energies is another way of talking about merging formlessness and form both into and from the ocean of divine resources. Some of us embody more of the formless, some more of the form. Each, in its own unique way, is a Divine Manifestation, containing the All within.

What does this have to do with Non-Hierarchical Enlightenment? As we release into the new cycle, we will be shown!

The Difference between Awakening and Enlightenment

"Many of my students are moving into advanced spiritual studies and making good, sound progress towards advanced states that bring the resolution to this long journey we have been making together. Because of this I feel the need to address something that I have wanted to talk about for quite sometime. It has to do with the way in which we all seem to interchange the words “awakening” and “enlightenment.” There is a difference between the states that these two words represent—a rather large difference in fact, and I would like to discuss this with you now so that we can all get clear on it and find a deeper understanding at this crucial time in our evolution.

Awakening is a term that is used a lot now, much more than the term enlightenment. I can only hazard a guess as to why this is—maybe it’s because “awakenings” are happening every day to lots of people and enlightenment is not! And maybe it is just a more up-to-date term for the kind of movement that many people are making these days, who knows! It seems there are many different kinds of movements towards awakening nowadays! However, there does seem to be some confusion happening here and it is time to clarify this. Essentially, it appears we are talking about two different states of consciousness—in the same ballpark, but in outcome and reach, actually different. Defining the difference between them is what I would like to do now.

I, like most people have used the term “awakening” as well, and I know that in my mind I have a precise sense of what I mean by that, just as using the term enlightenment is also clearly defined in my mind. But I don’t think that the differences the language conveys are necessarily observed by others or even understood. The two terms are being used inter-changeably, which is something that I would not do. So I would like to get a bit clearer about this with all of you, so that we can all be on the same page with what we each mean about where we are going.

Let’s start with the way I see and define the word “awakening” and then move on to the other one. Awakening seems to denote moments of sudden “ah ha’s” in our lives where we suddenly and unexpectedly have big breakthroughs in our understanding of reality, and cognize the resulting shifts in consciousness that are taking place in us. This all leads us towards a broader perspective on the ultimate Truth of life and who we are. These shifts come non–stop when one is an enthusiastic student seeking liberation from the old, structured 3D ego states. But these are openings of various sorts on the journey, not the attainment of the final destination—that of knowing the ultimate Truth of who you truly are. The road to enlightenment is marked by many of these awakenings of the kind that are taking you in a certain direction—to Oneness and the knowledge of who you truly are!

I suppose to someone on a slower path, an awakening of the sort I am speaking of would seem like “The Awakening”—and that someone could choose to see themselves as “The Awakened One”. However, I am sure you can see that this would be a mistake on their part, and I am not sure that too many people are that naive any more.

What really happens on the journey to enlightenment is that someone must experience repeated changes and breakthroughs of a certain particular kind, in order to move specifically towards enlightenment—even if they do it at breakneck speed (which is certainly increasingly possible in today’s climate for change.)

There are other options of course that cultivate breakthroughs that are not taking someone towards enlightenment. One could be consciously seeking a level of shamanic insight and have many breakthroughs along the way. The goal is simply not the same however as the path to enlightenment. There are many examples I could offer here, but let’s take just one here. One can have shamanic experiences that are also helpful along the way to enlightenment! But without seeking the specific goal of “enlightenment” one will not be able to move into that state—and no matter how many awakenings one has, something else will happen. It is possible to accumulate knowledge about many different spheres of reality—all very interesting, even useful in one’s life, but not necessarily being the state of enlightenment.

Enlightenment is the moment of ultimate Truth when all the cumulative shifts come together to produce a state of realization like no other—a realization that opens awareness way beyond the personal, small self and into knowing clearly what the nature of Divine Reality is, as well as One’s Own True Nature. It is pure consciousness realizing the Ultimate Truth about non-duality, about yourself really being the Oneness. No longer being able to see the state of separation of the human as true or real. This shift is a quantum leap into a completely different mode of perception. Gone is the perception of duality, the world, how one perceives life, or the dualistic perception of god from the ego’s point of view, and everything else one can think of, as being real.

The birth of non-dual consciousness in someone who has lived in duality all their lives results in a vast sea-change in everything about the one who experiences this. One’s perception of life changes (for the better), and an entirely new phase of one’s journey begins within the context of the knowledge of non-duality. One is no longer awakened or awakening, one is simply something else, Oneness.

Enlightenment is a completely new state that comes in after one has had many, many small and big awakenings of a specific ego-dissolving nature, over the course of linear time! So, enlightenment is the cumulative effect of someone’s consciousness changing in a certain specific direction, mostly by returning to its non-egoic state sufficiently often, to where the cumulative effect of all the changes create one major change in the perception of Truth and who one is within that Truth, before one can see it as the completion of one’s work. This may sound intimidating, but it must have been your experience thus far, so don’t worry. Many of you are entering the most interesting phase now!

Enlightenment only comes after a structured journey of many, many awakenings. And it has a fairly defined appearance, one that is common to most people who have reached it. This new state is so different in its manifestation that it has the effect of ending one’s old life-perception in all ways except the physical. In other words the journey from dualistic reality to non-dual reality is so different, one cannot conceive of it with the dualistic mind. One gets to keep the body with enlightenment, but all the rest, the ego stories and states of consciousness of the old way of perceiving and living, have gone away. One is in a state of unity consciousness, seeing Oneness everywhere, and no longer relating in the same way to the duality of the relative world, and all that this implies.

I believe that the word “awakening” is a way of describing the journey to another reality and there are other realities besides the enlightened state, such as the shamanic one I described earlier. These other options can also have stages of working through the dualities and finding some unity in some places yet also still dealing with places in oneself that are still battling with old ego habits that keep us in separations still and holding some dualities still to be dealt with—all very similar to what the path to enlightenment feels to many of you right now. But I think the question is where do you choose to stop? Are you willing to put in the time and go all the way home?

Enlightenment is a huge doorway out of ego and into full realization of who one truly is –in its totality—a new paradigm in being something entirely different than one’s ego capacity seemed to be, and a graduation into another world. A world of total balance, total seeing, total insight into the what’s, why’s, and wherefore’s about human ego, life, death and who we REALLY ARE once we escape the disguise of the limited ego self. So enlightenment is knowing the truth of existence, that it means being beyond ego, no limited person there—only voidness, vast yet totally intelligent, coherent voidness—the birth of the luminous, golden void after you have made the laborious journey through the illusion of the dark void of the shadow ego and come home into the luminous, golden void.

One has become “the One without a second”. Yet You/It still can appear to play in the fields of the illusion as “Oneness in service to humanity”, but Your Awareness is clear that there is no such thing as ego, no person doing anything, no “real” world, not really, just the Truth of Divine Intelligence as Light, playing by creating virtual realities for its own joy.

If you have come so far as to be reading this, be aware that this lifetime is truly a defining lifetime for you. Make no mistake about the fact that you are doing a study of enlightenment rather than making a more tentative movement towards higher consciousness. It means that your soul has seen that it is ready to make the big leap forward. No matter if you don’t make it into full and complete enlightenment in the next two and a half years, you will be able to reach a much clearer connection to your own Oneness, such that this time will constitute a huge surge forward in your evolution.

It is certainly worth a massive effort to get as far along as you can, with the energy currents right now supplying “the wind beneath your wings”! This opportunity will make all the difference in the end. It’s a not-to-be-missed experience. Simply to give it all you’ve got now!

Dancing the Downloads

The Truth is we are ONE

I was told the other day that it seemed as though Delphic Wave had, since the solstice in June, 'vanished in the mist' like Avalon. It has, a bit, it feels to me. All that is this offering is being re-configured into Light. No differentiation between container and contained. A time to again liquefy completely into the designs of the Great Mother; to be reborn from her flowing waters into yet another formless form. More formless than the last, perhaps more formed than the next. It is not for us to ‘know’ these things, only to rest within Her, at this great turning of so very many cycles.

And so, Uluru (Ayers Rock) has appeared in my field twice in the past week. Once, mentioned by my friend Leslie Temple-Thurston http://www.corelight.org , and again by my friend Heike, only yesterday. These occurrences are never random and prompted a note to mention that when information comes, however seemingly random or ‘out of context’, pay attention! These moments contain downloads that are unprecedented in our experience! The 'third time' always holds the information, the first appearances, the clues. I am anxiously awaiting the 'third' appearance of our fire dragon, Earth Mother root chakra, in all her 'stone person' glory!

As in the photo above, Uluru opens her arms to the light from the heavens, the Divine Mother opens Her arms to hold us in Her infinite supply. The old rules and the energy feeding them have gone. Did you notice? Are you observing how what we see as our outer world behaves as though they are still in place? What are you noticing? It is ‘up’ for attention, for its gifts of Grace.

As the tides churn you and again and again sweep you off your feet, ride along with them to the new shores awaiting us all. Allow the venting of all old sorrows, pains, griefs and grievances. We have no time for them. Forgive them all. Remember that these seeming waves of ‘past’ energies are not reality. They are the old cycle leaving us, any way it can.

Allow your deeper self to feel the excitement of new life forming. It IS a new cycle, a new way of BEING and the birthing waters have arrived.

Everything is changing! Take this opportunity to observe what you are holding onto that ‘must’ remain the same. Good luck with that! ROFL

Happy Portal Surfing!

We are now fully in the Solstice - Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse(s) - Grand Cross(es) and 6th Night portal sequence. Gaia is re-birthing Herself in the NOW. From the Temples into the arms of the Mother, in reverence we are moved, all anyhow, ready or not. And for some, we have felt so very ready, for so very long... and yet...

This past cycle has been quite the ride, has it not? In its death-rebirth sequence, we are feeling the birth of the new as the old energies thrash through their death throes. We are, all of us, releasing and rebirthing. And, as any birthing Mother will tell you, (once she is able) she has no clue how any of it is happening nor what the end result will be. She is only aware of the blessing and the miracle that is transpiring through her. So it is for Gaia. So it is for us all.

This past weekend, in a sacred releasing breathwork session I had a vision of the temple at Angkor Wat in Cambodia, of the sangha of monks in bright orange, all looking like dolls, all incarnations - each and very one - of spiritual values, spiritual past lives, vows of continuance, of perseverance and of obedience. All memories of 'spirituality' in the cycle that is dancing its death song. Lives of accruing merit, of holding the remembering, of vows coming to completion. As these images worked their way out of my body with the breath, I wondered. Visions come first, understanding later (if at all).

This was followed by more visions, all in meditation, of many forms, many lives. It brought back the wondering of how my sisters have come together here, now, in this place, for a completion of some kind. Prior to coming to this place, I had a dream. I was in this area, connecting heart-to-heart, remembering to remembering, essence to essence with other mystics. Since I have been here, this has happened, much to my wonderment and gratitude.

Sunday I received a hug from Ammachi. Around my left wrist was wrapped my 'original' mala - the first mala from my first mystery school teacher, purchased with that week's food money, at the Bodhi Tree bookstore in L.A. It has been with me for every desert trip and darshan with Rama, every spiritual or mystical training, every shamanic journey, every spiritual or mystical adventure for 27 years (a '9' of course!). A small storehouse of mystical power and light.

As I was released from the hug, the mala broke. And, as I sat in Presence, I felt the beads that slid free, breaking and releasing through my physical body as well. Completion. Release. Finally. And the Mother's words breaking through my heart. "It is time". It is still too fresh and new and unfathomable for words. Finally. Not of any 'doing' but of Grace.

Reclaiming Ecstasy

~ Aligning in Reverence~

In a sacred releasing session this past week, I spent an hour in the physical experience of what I know as ecstatic union with Light. There are many images, knowings, downloads, re-configurations and shifts that happen in such an experience. It began with the thrumming of Shakti in my body that allows me to release completely into the arms of the Mother. As the light intensifies, layers of consciousness part and Truth is revealed in whatever form one can accept in that moment.

The experience is of ‘home’. Home vibration, home resonance. Home. I last experienced this vibration with this intensity on Kauai, over the new year of 2010, in the physical presence of Dr. Baskaran Pillai (also known as Dattatriya Siva Baba). It brought tears of recognition, of welcome and of deep, deep remembrance. A yearning of the heart that releases as it keens its longing into forever.

This time, the vibration was Sourced from within Divine Flow Herself ~ as it is always, has always been, and yet ~ as deities and memories, past lives and metaphoric mystical symbols flowed through me, as I became the Light in many of Her forms ~ the re-membering took form. Many forms, actually, yet one in particular had a teaching long awaited.

The image of a black panther (black jaguar perhaps) blue-black in color, slightly larger than my physical body, appeared at the left of my inner sight. Ears laid back, relaxed, yet keenly alert to spring, She roared as lions roar, as the solar feminine roars her ferocity, in honor of the Divine. As I listened, receiving, another image formed to the ‘front, right’ of my inner vision. A snow-white cub, with riveting stellar blue eyes. White lion? “Snow leopard,” I heard in response. The blue-black of the panther’s etheric body mirrored in the eyes of this magnificent embodiment of innocence and authenticity. “Power in its infancy”. Innocent and pure.

I felt tears of reverence and awe making their silent passage down my cheeks and onto the pillow. Held within the Darshan. Transmission from the Divine to the Divine, and I, the witness only. As I watched, the cub took more and more physical form, soft fur on the ears becoming visible, spots changing to pure whiteness and to spots again... the mountains of Tibet forming behind it. I wanted to hold it to my heart, while having the feeling of doing so, of the mature Goddess-Panther holding the image of this little one within her heartspace with a level of cherishing barely recalled.

Much later, after this experience, knowing that whatever was taught or embodying would make itself known in Her own time, I took to the books. Panther – (according to Ted Andrews) “Reclaming”. “Reclaim... what has been lost or broken will be replaced by something more beneficial. A symbol of mastery over dimensions in which others cannot survive.” Black Panther – per Jamie Sams – “Embracing the Unknown”. Yes. The unknown. Ecstasy without its dualistic counterpart.

The dualistic form of ecstasy carries within it the underbelly of ‘agony’, or trauma and pain. When ‘ecstasy’ carries the seeds or memories of agony, it is not truly ecstatic consciousness. Nor is the new-age delirium popularly known as ‘blissed-out’. I have been watching this particular phenomenon for a lifetime. The addictive nature of altered states is obvious, and quite daunting. How is ‘altered’ by substance addiction, addition to the shakti, or the earth’s power places true ecstasy? Is it? What is ecstatic union with nature? With the divine? What is the truth of ecstatic embodiment, as some of us hold it in reverence, long-forgotten, yet somehow always remembered? What is truth? What is the heart’s answer?

I asked again, what the transcendent embodiment of non-dual ecstasy truly is, how that can be experienced in form. Can it? And can it be maintained? Can that space be truly embraced and walked with practical feet? I have seen it done, experienced this Presence, I walk around in it most of the time, and yet, well, I get called ‘woo-woo’ a lot. Or dysfunctional. Or whatever. This experience was part of the answer, part of the truth. Fierce authenticity, completely in alignment with authentic innocence. I remain a bit gobsmacked at the wonder of it. My mind does not understand these images in a way that feels complete, nor perhaps will it ever. I am quite content with that.

In the releasing of both the ‘pretended’ ecstasy, the ‘high’, and the deeply internalized agony of embodiment, as it was held in my heart, true ecstasy was remembered within me. Ferocity and innocence, solar and lunar light, ‘power’ as the force that it truly and simply ‘IS’. The reclamation of ecstasy; ecstatic union with the Divine, in this physical form. Grounded ‘walkable’ euphoria with no hint of the constriction we know as duality.

The images of our inner vision have so much to teach us! My tears remain – as does my gratitude.

Gaia’s Awakening

~ Alignment with what Matters~

What really matters? Gaia Herself is shifting alignment and so must we. As She births Herself into a new alignment, new energy configuration, new and higher vibratory reality, we too must allow ourselves to be passed through the creative alchemy of being newly designed, created anew.

A year or so ago, I was hiking with some friends. We were approaching sacred ground – a configuration that has been ‘sacred’ to the indigenous for as long as there have been indigenous, and probably long before. I stopped, as I know to do, in reverence for our Mother Earth, and Her secret, sacred spaces. I sat, in full view of this ‘sweet spot’ and opened myself to Her wisdom. When did we, as a species, become too full of ourselves to receive darshan from a ‘rock’? From the green world? From the inner dimensions of this sphere we audaciously call our planet? Grins and much head shaking on my part. ;)

As I sat in reverence, I was shown, faster than the mind can follow, events of such seismic magnitude I could only sit in wonder. The up-thrusting of magma and stone, the deep nurturing dark of the stillness that followed, the outpouring of nurturing of all life in this valley, the very creation of that valley, and ~ later, much, much later ~ the scurrying flurry of ant-like creatures carving and scraping and scooping and building. Roads, structures, carving and blasting and moving and shaking. Moving and shaking? From within the living stone came a deep silent rumble... laughter. Gentle and benign, and THOROUGHLY amused.

I was shown the Paleolithic, the upsurgence of all that we call life in the green worlds, the creature beings, the harmony. Ever the harmony, until the carving and shaping and blasting began. Redirecting the flows of water, of ice, of energy and of grace. As I sat and opened, it was similar to viewing a film in fast forward... VERY fast. What we call the past, merging into the present, and on into a future where there are only the stars... our brother and sister beings in cosmic alignment, this galaxy, home to ‘our’ solar system...Mother Gaia, home to our bodies, in vibratory resonance with the Divine currents of creation. The ‘home tone’, the resonance of life, of creation Herself.

As I re-focused in that moment, sitting cross-legged on this out-cropping, the gravel making dents in my bum, I was held within the intimate embrace, the vast vibrational awareness of ‘sacred space’. I felt the crystalline growth beneath me, the flow of sand and stone, of wind and water, of the mind stilling itself in reverence for the sacredness of the ALL. Within the ALL ~ the harmony. The ‘home tones’ of creation.

And Gaia is awakening. This is Her enlightenment, this Shift in consciousness. And the awakening that flows with it is the vibration of reverence.

As Gaia’s awareness moves through Her ascension portals, may we remember the ‘home tones’, the vibrations that birth every atom of being. May we reverence the Divine that is our true home.

~ Alignment with the Shift ~

“Mayday, mayday!” we hear over the radio frequencies when a ship (air or sea) is in jeopardy. In the States, in an emergency we dial ‘911’. Interesting number that. A radical shift in perception. This is the Shift. It is here. We are here. A radical shift in perception. How will you make your shift? Your ‘assault on the cliffs of forever’? (quote, Rama’s).

Well, certainly not an assault at this time. This is a passage of the heart. How will you survive this? Who is the ‘you’ and what does surviving mean, when the world, as our minds have learned to navigate it, is shifting beneath our feet, over our heads, and in our bodies?

If you are sensitive, and if you are reading this it is highly likely, you are feeling the resonance within of the earth changes, the energetic changes, the effects of gamma rays, not on ‘man in the moon marigolds’ but within your bodies!

It is time to listen deeply. It is time to be completely true to ourselves, not the little self, the false self, the masks and archetypal dances we do for God and others, but to the ‘still small voice’ within that is not so still anymore! (yay!) It is time to truly look at our deepest patterns (they are NOT the darkest ones, btw) and allow them to be lifted from us, allow the shifting sands of dark and light to integrate and to allow Spirit to, once and forever, do Her work through us. How we approach the divine (God/Goddess/Ali/Allah/AllThatIS) is so much less important than that we do so at this time! It is in the hands of the Divine, this Shifting... and yet, and yet... are we not also Divine?

What will your response be to the call this time? We must allow. It is time, it is here, it is NOW.

Resting in Stillness

~ Surfing the Cosmic Tsunamis ~

So here we go! As Gaia dances her re-formative tango, we are now dancing to HER tune! Cause for great celebration!

My observation is an interesting juxtaposition of the celebratory and the Stillness. I keep seeing the mental image of Padma Sambhava (the Tibetan Bodhisattva) floating in an orb of light, bouncing off the tsunamis and the changes, grinning from ear to ear. Or perhaps that is just my cosmically skewed sense of humor at play.

The lessons keep showing up in blatantly informative ways, don't they? As a western collective, how are we obsessed with comfort - however grossly or more subtly we may define this, and polarized in any aversion to pain? What is pain? What is comfort? How do our subtle identities play with these concepts? And how do we let them go along with the old world that is leaving us?

I had an experience early this week of wanting to attend satsang with a blessedly awake friend, Pamela Wilson~ http://www.pamelasatsang.com/, I woke up that morning with monster headaches, body discomfort and dizziness. Not having had this kind of day for a few months, I was curious and also a little miffed. Had to be today, yes? These are 'human' emotions pushed up through the 'human' body. Nothing to be upset by, but to be present to learn from. As usual, I began to look for resistance, for any sloughing off of older energies or states of mind, and felt, from the Stillness, "rest". "Just rest, Beloved". I gave the body herbs, essential oils and a good soak, to see if that would ease things. The symptoms increased. Ok, resting.

I propped up on pillows, much as I had after my brain 'upgrade' in June, feeling a return, a releasing of the deep tenderness that had permeated my neck, shoulders, and the back of my head at that time. I rested and went deeply inward.

I was shown the pain and the wish for comfort. "Where is the physical (body / life) still in aversion to pain and obsessing with comfort? Where do these definitions need adjusting?" I have done quite a bit of inquiry on this in the past, so just let things show up this time, rather than letting my mind supply 'files' or feedback. I did not need to wait. The adjustments were happening as I watched, and that was all that was needed. I watched, observed, and kept affirming my heart's wish to be in Stillness and yes, to be with my spiritual sisters and to attend this gathering. Much was moving, and after some time, I felt "Get up now, and go". I was still dizzy and my head throbbing. I got up and into the car.

I could hear mental and a bit of physical feedback saying, "This is NOT a good idea!" And yet, the inner urging, "Go". I drove carefully, as usual, and felt more shifting. By the time I had visited with my friends, and attended the satsang, the physical ravages had disappeared completely.

I had had the experience of 'full circle'. Giggles abound. As I sat in that Space, I had the experience of juxtaposed realities. Sitting in satsang with Pamela. Sitting in 'class' with Marguerite at the age of less-than-two. Circle to circle. Family to family. Old 'family' identity falling away. A homecoming, granted by Stillness. Completion. Beginning. Falling through the Space that is the true gift of Grace. Noticing love ~ in whatever form She presents Herself ~ as the underlying essence and the flow of Space.

The message, for this time, was to rest in the Stillness and allow the changes to occur, as they happen. Let them be. Let your body and life BE. And in the observing, love. What else has there ever been to do or to see?

Happy Equinox! Enjoy the New Beginnings!

~ Breathlessly New Beginning ~

It is time to paint with the brushes of limitlessness.

As is often the case, I have to agree with Reverend Angie... it is time, as we step through the Equinox portal, whether it be the Vernal portal (in the northern hemisphere) of new beginning or the Autumnal portal (in the southern) of balancing, it is time to let go ~ yes, really, once and for all!

I hear from so many, including aspects of myself, "I've DONE that, no more, I've let go of everything I can think of! (or LOST everything) ". So it's time to abandon the mind's agenda and surrender unconditionally. The mind will never let go of its own volition ~ well, not without a little coercion.

What does that mean? The mind cannot understand. Our minds are not prepared to. They were simply not trained to not 'be' who we have programmed them to be. No blame, no finger pointing, no more beating ourselves up. Just do it already! We are all being called to a new beginning, a fresh start, and a foundational level of beginners' mind. Our minds, all of us, need re-training. Like a young child, learning the new world, from a place of freshly un-jaded enthusiasm. You can do it! Find your inner Peter Pan and fly! ;)

That said, let's talk about new beginnings and sacred space. I am currently residing in an incredibly sacred space. Lucky me? Yes! I am truly blessed! And this too was one of the 'waking dreams' that I had to let go of everything that had been, to encounter. I could not have created t his ~ it had to be a gift from my Source and my Sisters... what a blessed event! How amazing and miraculous and... SELF-created.

For years I dreamed unconsciously, although my teachers tried to convince me otherwise... ;)

When we 'daydream', or 'love the scenery in that film' or read a book describing the idyllic and heave that heavy sigh of yearning, we are dreaming forward, creating with thought, feeling and mind. We are un-consciously creating, dreaming forward idly and with no focus. It is time to choose consciously. New beginning. Fresh start. Conscious dreaming.

What sacred spaces have you self-denied in order to serve... your family? The greater good? All noble aspirations, but NOT Self-love. Selfishness, arrogance and ego are also not Self-loving, yet we hang onto those 'doing' aspects of the little self the hardest, while beating them up in the process. Sound familiar? Familial?

Yes, this blog is largely tongue-in-cheek, as befits such a powerful alignment as this Equinox. It is high, it is holy, it is sublime, and it is knocking the socks off the old paradigm.

Moonrise over Mojave

~ The Mystical Journey of Life ~

With the hybrid loaded to the gills, we (the Roshini-Dakini and I) headed out ~ away from our mountain hideaway, still buried in towers of snow, leaving behind pristine clarity and the stillness that only the Tao of New Snow can engender. In my head, Vangelis' Antarctica was playing... clean clear notes that summon the frosty chill of zero vibe and crystalline experience.

With the heart tugging a bit for the mystical valley of our sequestered time, we set out ~ Eastward this time, and South, across the varying expanses of desert - the sanctuary of snow soon a memory as the temperatures rose with our passing.

As we traversed the Eastern Sierra, on our way to... where exactly? Perhaps the moon? The energies became ever more dense... and soon, as we crossed the first of several deserts, the chimeras of the inner worlds became visible to the physical eyes. Not the sun dogs one might hope for, nor whirling rainbows nor the Spirit Kachinas dancing on the arroyos. These striations of light were, while beautiful, an intricate dance of inter-dimensional flux. "The whole area is morphing" I said to Roshini. "mmph" she agreed from the back seat. The continual morphing felt horrible, nauseating to say the least. We fueled up and were on our way as quickly as possible, Roshini refusing to eat even her favorite treats.

As we entered the Mojave, things shifted again, not so radically but as though the desert itself was rolling like the sea. The closer we came to
Arizona, the late afternoon sun became our ally, lighting up the sagebrush and red rocks to advantage. Just as we found the 'only' rest stop not closed, the moon began to rise. Rising in front of us like a lazy beacon, it brought with it the wind. Standing in the wind in the desert. Familiar and blessed.
I began to weep with gratitude. The energies are shifting... and it is good. It is good. In the middle of 'nowhere' ~ having forgotten that there are literally no 'stops' from 'here' to 'there'... we found our first piece of the home that has eluded my physical experience for osme years now. Wind, Lightness, the feeling of being carried in mystical journeying. Mmmmmm.

As we traveled further and further across the Mojave, the waxing moon rose before us, it's frothy 'growing' edge gleaming ever more clearly, brighter as the sun began it's descent in the sky. Peace. Stillness. Power.

As something less like luck would have it, I miscalculated the drive time and we ended up driving an hour or so in the dark into the mountains again. More snow, tall, old growth Ponderosa pines, and a familiar chill in the air once more.

On the road again in the morning, we debated. Grand Canyon or Sedona? "NEITHER!" said my body, and at that moment, a large raven flew directly across the hood of the car, quite close to the windshield, headed 'on down the road'. Okay! Off we go. For many years now, ravens and crows have been my physical guides when traveling. Even in local areas, if I am unsure as to direction, they provide the intuitive guidance needed for me to find my way. This was no exception.

As we headed out of the pines and into a higher, more pristine desert, I began to see signs for 'Winslow'. What is it about that?... Starman! The crater is somewhere nearby! Within a minute and a half, a sign appeared "meteor crater - right turn ahead". ;) It was early enough that we were the only vehicle on the 6-mile winding road that leads out into the desert and into a vibration so pure, so crystalline and otherwordly, it made me want to set up camp. We spent an hour or so, just basking in the energies, wandering around doing woofy sniffing things, me going inside and sitting in the sun on the observation deck, just 'wondering' in awestruck familiarity.
Again - the crystalline purity of 'home'. Mystical journey. A thought occurred... notable for the lack of mental traffic for the past hour or so. When did my physical life CEASE being a mystical journey? The when being less important than the acknowledgement of what had been missing.

Grinning from ear to ear, we got back in the car, wistful again at 'leaving' yet absorbed in the flow once more.

Grounding happens within us, within our heartspaces, our souls. We are and always will be, galactic travelers. To forget that is to lose one's sense of 'home'.

~ Breaking the Cult of Normalcy ~

When we are addictive, we are in an unhealthy trance state. We all know this about material, physical addictions. What about psychic, spiritual addictive states? The largest addiction that humanity has succumbed to is the 'cult of normalcy'. What is normal? How to fit in? How to survive amongst everyone else? How do I make money through the status quo when I see through the illusion? For lightworkers, this translates to being addicted to the particular form of helping. February 11th (12th in India) Maha Shivaratri ~ the Night of Siva!

Lord Shiva is the representation of primordial energy from which everything was born and into which everything in the universe will dissolve. In other words, Lord Shiva is also the Great Mother. This week we celebrate Shivaratri. This is the night where Lord Shiva is said to have revealed the dance of primeval conception, preservation and destruction.

Maha Shivaratri occurs once a year, and this year it falls on February 12th in India (and February 11th in North America). Prayers offered during Shivaratri are said to be amplified 10 million times. This is Shiva's mercy, the descent of Divine Grace. If there is a more auspicious time than any other when you can elevate your thoughts and empower your goals, it is this special night!

Practices that empower these energies:

New Moon ~ The Initiatory Time of this lunar cycle ~

Welcoming the energies of Creation

~ Embodying the Fire Within~
February begins the new cycle of the Great Mother Goddess, as her energies begins to stir within the earth, bringing healing and renewal to the physical world. Even under the snows you can begin to feel it ~ the pulsing of life as its deeply seeded forms dream themselves forward into blossoming awakeness.

Years ago, when I lived in the Boston area, I loved to run around Walden Pond (there is a walking 'path' even in the snow). In February, feeling the life beginning to sir with the Mother in the energies of 'new', I would run the perimeter of the pond in ice and snow. I would end up grinning from ear to ear as I felt the awakening earth beneath me. The I Ching speaks of this, as do all mystical traditions. The resurgence of lifeforce in the coming of Spring.

It sometimes seems odd to speak of this in light of the winter Solstice so recently upon us. But, as the cross-quarter between the Solstice and the coming Vernal Equinox (or autumnal, if you are in the southern hemisphere) Imbolc, or the celebration of Brighid, the Great Mother Goddess of the Celts, is the re-turning of the Great Wheel as it cycles through our world and our lives.

Take some time this week, (on the 4th if you are able) to connect to the Divine through Her presence in nature. Allow yourself to feel your deep connectedness to the whole of life. Renewal is upon us all at this time. Remember Brighid's fire and embrace the turning of the light!

Aligning with the Celestial Celebration

~ The very cosmos aligns itself to serve the evolution of Spirit ~

Welcome to the energy shifts of 2010! Last year, the energies resembled a furiously boiling pot of water - the kind where the bubbles leap upward and sting a bit, if we are not paying attention, and are definitely and unconditionally, 'in our faces'. This year, 2010, is a year of forward motion, in a rather LARGE and cyclic way. The energies resemble a series of huge waves - tsunami-like in structure. Waves can be fun, if we only remember how to surf the big ones. ;)

To surf the big waves of energy, it helps to align with them (or duck under, like a sea lion) and let them carry us into the newness that is birthing itself all around and through us in each of these miraculous moments of what we call 'time'.

Since January 13th, we have a new moon, a solar eclipse, Mercury went direct and Saturn retrograde. The full moon at the end of the month will bring in the signs of all that we have thought & chosen during these ''new' and 'seeding' times. This combination is going to be interesting!

If you want to know how you are really vibrating, look for the signs manifesting around you! Is the 'help' coming in, especially from places you least expected or would not have imagined? Are things coming in 'at a twist' when your visions were essentially 'straight forward'? Welcome to the birthing of the new! What used to work will work differently, or be replaced with what works NOW... dreaming forward from the heart, visioning from your heart and third eye, allowing Source to gift you with more than you have yet begun to perceive.

As we approach the full moon at end of month, watch for the sprouting, budding, blossoming energies (even if you live in the colder part of the world) to see what is birthing itself for you even in the now.

This month's new moon was Vedic New Year - also known as Pongal. For all who celebrate the turning of year and yuga, rejoice! The new is upon us, once again, returning us into our cosmic Mother, for re-birthing from Her light.

Flowing Forward into Knowing

Many, including myself, have talked about not needing to know, about being comfortable with embracing the unknown. What is being talked about is the day-to-day mind. This is the mind that controls (or seeks to), plans, seeks direction, justification, and supports 'doing'. This mind is now being re-trained by Spirit, as She moves through our world in breath-taking waveform every moment. We are all being moved into a foundational level of re-education and learning. Sananda talked about this as '... becoming as little children...'. In the Buddhist traditions 'Beginners' Mind' is the conceptual understanding.

We can also speak of this process as that of surrender. A tricky concept, at best. What is true surrender? Into what? To whom? Where the mind takes this concept is the issue, not the action itself. Our world is in a vast and deep process of surrender, in this present moment, this cosmic nano-second of re-birthing that is truly awe-ing and gob-smacking for those who choose to let it in. Just do it! Let it all the way in! All you have to lose is your current identity! And are you not ready??

I was reminded of a favorite Einstein quote this morning. "Most people see what is, and never see what can be." Too true! Then, there is the flip side of that concept in duality, (which, btw, is the system we are transcending out of at literal light speed! Thank goodness!) The flip side is the many who "have eyes to see and ears to hear" - you know who you are, my psychic, telepathic, 'clair-everything' friends. These individuals, myself included, tend to "see what can be" and are often, frequently, and sometimes continually disillusioned when the 'what is' rises up to challenge and confound our internal clarity. We sometimes do what the psychologists call "falling in love with the potential" of a person, place, thing, organisation, or life situation. We are AWARE of the 'what is' but the outward 'facts' matter so much less to us than the potential we see within the (person, place, thing or what-have-you) because we truly see and appreciate the authenticity held therein. We find the light within awe-inspiring and breath-taking and do not even need to 'fall' in love with it, because our inner knowing says, "This is Real. This is home."

This phenomenon is often called 'unrealistic idealism'. Have you ever been told that? Have you ever been counseled that you are envisioning something too idealistic from your ivory tower existence? Or are you among those who have experienced something so far removed from 'ivory tower' that that, too, is a foreign concept? Again, the issue is with the 'flip sides'. What 'side' are you still, consciously or unconsciously, defending... your wounding? Your 'history'? What story can now be let go into the flow to 'let in the rainbows' of reality? Debbie Ford wrote a book about this, called The Dark Side of the Light Chasers. Not a critique! Really! For the uninitiated, an eye-opening read. We all have everything within us. To deny or avoid or have aversion to any 'side' is to remain in duality, even when one believes one has transcended into unity consciousness. In other words, the constant perception of the 'rainbow reality' takes constant vigilance (more on that next time) and OPENING.

What side of the rainbow are you choosing today? Is there a side? The sub-title about rainbows was given to me by a grove of trees... who see the rainbows 'all the time' along with the seasons, the shifts, the changes... and who are unfailingly grounded and PATIENT. They know that life knows what She is doing. They trust Life. Life is Spirit. Life is Source. Life is a miracle... and rainbows? You decide. ;) Your perception is a choice - open or limited? The entire concept of any particular 'point of view' is, in itself, limitation.

I would add this: In these unprecedented times, we will not only find, but also 'BE it'.... the lovers, the dreamers, and WE.

Peace is found in the heart. It is that place of inner stillness from which and through which all blessings flow, and in which the movement is so subtle, so profoundly harmonious that it only feels 'still' and without change. Changeless and ever-changing, peace is within us all.

May your holydays, (whatever they may be and to whatever form of light you dedicate your celebrations), be blessed and may Peace find you always!

And while you're at it, go outside and marvel at the miracle of life enfolding you!

Gentleness

Breathing in Gentleness:
Part of my chi gong practice is breathing in gentleness - for a few minutes every day. What happens when you do this consciously is that the vibration of gentleness begins to put pressure on any held anger, resentment, bitterness or the like. These buried, repressed or 'stuffed' emotional states will come to the surface to be vented. At first it can feel very odd to be practicing gentleness and be faced with old, unexpressed emotions that are uncomfortable at best. We typically do not WANT to feel these states of mind and emotion when we breathe in the fluid light of gentleness.

If we allow these old feelings to vent out (not the same as acting them out) however, they release quite safely and quickly, allowing the vibration of gentleness to resonate in the body, mind and heart.

Gentleness gets a bad rap. It is often confused with vulnerability, or being a push-over or doormat. Gentleness is nothing like this. There is a story in the indigenous traditions of this country that fawn (a baby deer) goes on a journey to talk to Great Spirit and meets the demon who guards the door to Great Spirit's mountain. Fawn is so innocent and gentle that her sincerity alone charms the demon and melts its heart, so that she walks into the Presence, unhindered.

Allow gentleness to enter your heart, to melt the demon(s) of fear that guard it for you, and walk into the Presence within you. Give yourself this gift, whatever holyday you may celebrate. Allow the Presence within. Let gentleness be your ally.

Gratitude

Years ago, one of my teachers suggested a Gratitude journal. Not uncommon these days, but it was not much discussed at that time. I bought a special journal with Disney characters on the cover. Gratitude comes most easily to me when I am in that exquisite state of childlike wonder.

At the beginning and ending of each day I wrote notes about what I was grateful for. It began with the trees and the stars and sunlight through new leaves. The smell of summer heat on pine needles, the sound of the waves as they greet the shore.

As the weeks passed, my notes became more and more subtle. They contained challenges and lessons learned, yet always returned to nature. The simplest of things seem to engender the greatest feeling of 'thank you'.

For what am I most grateful? For the Source that flows through me - and through us all. I am most grateful for Divinity, in all Her diverse, magical majesty. When I look through the eyes of Gratitude, there is nothing that appears as less than Divine.

In the season of turning inward (in my part of the world), may we remember that from whence we came, and all that supports our hearts and our lives.

Releasing through the Heart

Releasing Judgment into Clarity
What moves through our world these days, is the ancient knowing of dreaming forward from the heart. There is a companion 'technology' of releasing from that place as well. Releasing from the heart is like jumping from a swing - pumping up so high that the swing goes limp beneath you, throwing yourself forward into the air, landing gracefully or ungracefully as you choose or are able to. This is also known as 'skywalking', where you move forward (or sideways or in spirals) knowing, completely consciously, that there is no path in front of you but that which you are dreaming. You release all that does not support the movements you are making. This can also feel like 'freefall'. The difference comes when you know you have found your wings, and no longer require a parachute (or other flotation device of any kind to hang onto).

I love to 'fly'. My favorite form of that as a child, was to sit in the swing in our little back garden, swishing through the air, back and forth, delighting in the ebb and flow of meditation in motion. I would pump up high, as high as I could, pulling the swing-set frame out of the ground with the loft of my trajectory (much to my Father's constant dismay) flinging myself into the air and landing at a run across the grass, through the roses that have always surrounded me.

One afternoon, post-five-year-old-nap, I was swinging out back and heard a loud noise. I had always felt safe in my garden, so was curious rather than disturbed. One of the older boys from down the street was beating on the fence behind me. He was growling and making threatening noises. I didn't understand. "Is he playing a game? That's kind of weird. "

The older boy, behind the garden fence on this particular afternoon, was one of the oldest sons of a woman who lived 3 doors down - a single Mum with 10 children - whose smiling faces and soft laughter had been a part of my life as long as I could remember. This boy began shouting and pounding on the fence ~ which I thought was kind of funny ~ until he began to throw things at me - anything he could find from the alleyway behind. A broken jar finally hit me in the back, so I decided staying where I was, was not very smart. Pumping up high, I leaped from my swing and ran into the house. Mum was working in the kitchen. She noticed I was out of breath and not just from running.

"What happened?" she asked, from behind the ironing board. I quickly told her what had gone on, pointed out all the trash littering the little area where my swing-set was, and suddenly began to cry. "Why are you crying?" Mum asked. "I don't understand!" I told her, taking a deep breath and making myself be still. "Why was he doing that? Mrs. B (his Mother) is our friend! What does "stupid white girl" mean? " Our neighbor, Katherine, was having a cup of tea in the kitchen. She looked at me and my Mum with her jaw dropped open. "Mrs. M, your daughter doesn't know...". "Know what?" said Mum, with her hands on her hips. "Well, she doesn't... she can't see... you know what I mean!!". Mum put a finger to her lips. That was all.

As the five-year-old that I was then, I had no idea what Katherine was talking about. I knew I loved her stories and her company. I loved her cookies and especially her smile and the way she would hug me before leaving to go home. Did I know she (and the whole neighborhood) was 'of color'? I would have had no idea what that meant. The experience with the older boy was my first encounter with judgment and projection. I wish I could say it was my last! I have judged and projected with the best of them, particularly in the areas of interaction with spiritual teachers. I have 'been' whereof I speak. ;)

I had not thought about that incident for years, decades even, until this week, during my radio blogcast. The transmission from the Sacred Feminine was about fear and judgment. As is most often the case, I was largely unaware of what was being spoken through me - in that I hardly ever remember the words when Her energy moves through me in that way. I 'get out of the way' and rest in Her embrace. To have the 'information' I often have to listen later like everyone else! ;)

As I began to move out of 'transmission mode' there was a commotion of energies coming from the chat room. Apparently, those signed in were having a great time exchanging ideas, supporting one another and generally having a blast. Good! What came through me next, from the place of divine transmission still, was "Not listening". The transmission was not being honored in some way. I heard the words come through my voice - then felt the intensity of the reaction. It was like having trash thrown at my back all over again. The comments were mean. "She was just talking about not criticizing and judging and that is what she just did!". Is that so?

The older neighbor boy judged and threw trash at me because the color of my body, in this life, is different from his. He reacted, most likely, from what had been done to him by others ~ not by me. The comments thrown at me yesterday were from that same energy of reactivity. When we are in reactivity, it is not efficient or useful to assume that the projections you are broadcasting at 'another' are not just that - your own. The caterpillar, even in its most liquefied form, defends the cocoon it has built to protect itself!

When will we (all of us) learn not to take things personally? When will we learn to ask for the bigger picture, the more expanded perspective of what we perceive and experience? When will we stop defending the position of 'being right'? When anything triggers us, it is our true alignment to first look within. What is the difference between judgment and observation? Alignment. Consciousness.

Walk a mile in another's consciousness, before you assume that your perspective is the 'right' one. What you perceive as judgment is most likely your inner judge, reminding you of something you need to see or perceive or learn or understand.

What did I need to learn from that incident as a five-year-old? That not everyone perceives as I do - that there is separation and judgment in the world that need not be. It makes me sad, but I can no longer play on that field. 'What I know for sure' - quoting Oprah now - is that I am 'out' of the bucket and working on my 'bucket list'!

What do you know for sure? Radiate that! Resonate that! Find that voice - and shine! BE the one you have waited for!

When Realities Collide

I am an intermittent science fiction fan. Some genres I truly enjoy, others I happily ignore completely. I am hearing in my head today, song lyrics from the film 'Rocky Horror'. "When Worlds Collide, said George P to his bride...". We are in the midst of such an event.

From the midst of the Great Turning, with the Sixth Night of the Mayan Calendar beginning November 8, I am observing worlds colliding all around me. How will we communicate, exchange, co-create when our versions of reality are, as a friend recently put things, "a little muddled". Yes, that is the line spoken by Billie Burke, in her role as Glinda the Good Witch, in 'The Wizard of Oz'.

It feels Oz-like does it not? (I actually read ALL of the books, not just the original.) Dorothy wants to 'go home' and can't find the way, all roads look alike (yellow) and guidance comes in parables and with threats "Surrender, Dorothy!" or a Cheshire-cat-like disappearing grin (but I'm mixing my mythologies). AND, of course, there is the infamous ruby footwear. Remove the slippers (must be uncomfortable as walking shoes, haven't you thought?) and you are vulnerable to being preyed upon. Stay 'tight inside of them' and the "other sister" tries to kill you at every turn ~ which she allegedly would do much faster if you take them off, even for a minute, to soothe your blisters. Sounds like a lose-lose to me! Is the Hero/ine's Journey really such dramatic stuff?

And there you have the 'death' of duality. Anything we still hold at the level of the personality had its birth in the system of the 'dual', the polarized, in 'duality'. We can no longer swing with the pendulum of either/or. The engine, the driver programs, no longer exist. And so, as we do the 'swing' from one side of any issue to what used to be the 'other', the pendulum takes off into another dimension entirely. One can laugh hysterically, give up and warp out, or relax and enjoy the ride. Then again, there is the crawling up one's own nether regions solution, never optimal in my way of thinking, but then I tend to prefer expansive views. ;) (translation: there is little vantage or vision up your own ... ahem!!)

We have heard that we are moving from duality to unity, but are we allowing ourselves to trust that there is a deeper guidance holding a course through it all? A course we cannot and will not see ahead of us?

We have practiced 'acting as if'. Is it enough right now? Is 'not knowing' really and truly ok? What voices remain inside of us that resist? Rebel? Run? Embrace the ostrich position?

How we do reconcile the now necessary action of CHOICE with embodying the flow? We are, all of us, faced with, grappling with, these questions right now.

For this evening of the Sixth Night the Divine Mother recommends integration. Allow what you have chosen to receive to find you.
Bless all that surrounds you. And remember to bless all that you ARE.

Dreaming Between the Worlds

The celebration of Halloween (samhain) is upon us, bringing with it remembrance of the thin places between all realities. Halloween and is a holiday (holy day) that originated as an outgrowth of an ancient Celtic Cross-Quarter festival called Samhain (pronounced sow-in) that marked their New Year. As samhain is a 'fixed' holyday in most calendars, it falls on 31 October in the Northern Hemisphere. Samhain is a good time to do some divination!

What is divination and why is it at all important? Throughout every age there have been divination tools. The simplest are the applied kinesiology known as muscle-testing, use of a pendulum, divining rods (typically used to 'find' water) cartomancy (using cards) bibliomancy (books, like the I Ching) and others. Wikipedia defines the word as: "Divination (from Latin divinare "to foresee, to be inspired by a god"[2], related to divinus, divine) is the attempt to gain insight into a question or situation by way of a standardized process or ritual." So, divination is simply a ritualized asking inwardly for guidance. In other words, it is a form of prayer. Ask, and you shall truly Receive!!!

In Ancient Greece, the Oracles were kept busy by such requests, the local Seers, busy interpreting the messages given. The distinction between Oracle and Seer has long been blurred in Western culture, as have the lines between intuition and imagination! ;)

Aligning with Dreaming from the Heart

~ Consciously Co-Creating from Love ~

As we move toward what will be a new portal, (the 11:11:11 doorway next month) there are critical questions to ask within ourselves. As I have been contemplating, asking and receiving Divine Guidance, I am shown how imperative it is at this 'time', this critical juncture within each one of us, to do just this. To ask this question: "Where have I not loved?" "Where am I not appreciating / appreciative?"

When we ask these questions generically, in general, our guidance is often still. When we begin to query from curiosity, rather than from fear or judgment, asking "Am I appreciative of my life?" "Am I appreciative of my body as a vehicle for transformation?" Am I appreciative of the new/ancient foundational learning stance my mind MUST take at this time?" we begin to feel, to receive the answers in the form of guidance, that we have longed for. We are BECOMING the answers we have sought. " Look not outside yourself!" my guidance has always said. The outer is always an extension in consciousness of the inner. NOT always a direct reflection. More, a funhouse mirror of your radiance, your current perceptual field.

I am truly appreciative of all that has transpired ~ every moment of my waking / sleeping life ~ as these energies in motion have brought blessings, every one. I now choose from love, without guilt, all that I am available to create and experience. Will you choose from love as well? Your core invites you to do just this. Opening the heart does not have to mean becoming vulnerable to hurt, to attack, to conflict. These energies are ripe for transformation and a larger perception of truth.

The celestial alignments for 2009 - 2010 are energetic opportunities to travel through the realities we choose to create and experience. Watch for the 11:11:11 and for the eclipse on New Year's Eve, 2009! These are opportunities to dream forward co-creatively like none we have yet experienced... in this world or this lifetime!

A new moon is a catalytic time, a time to seed, to plant and water. What is the heartseed of this time for you? To what will you give your heart energy during this next lunar cycle? Full Moon in Libra-Aries

The full moon in Libra-Aries occurs on Saturday evening October 3rd, at 11:10 PM PDT. (Early in the morning on the 4th for much of the world) The spotlight energies of the full moon in Libra shine a light on what needs balancing. The spotlight energies in Aries, on what is showing up creatively, in creativity and in our lives to be re-created. Where do we have an opportunity to live our courage and try a new way?

The way to navigate re-balancing and re-birthing, re-creating, is from the heart. The Art of Balancing ~ Hemispheres ~ The Mayan Calendar and Our World

Today, contemplating the upcoming new moon and equinox alignments, I was guided to watch a YouTube video featuring Carl Johan Calleman, Mayan Calendar expert and heart-centered visionary.

In segment 1 of the 5-part interview, taped on ‘13 Ik’ (approximately the summer solstice 2009) Calleman is talking about the 1990 fall of the Berlin wall and how the wall and its demise relates to the eastern and western hemispheres in the world we live in. He extrapolates the ‘split’ in consciousness between East and West into the hemispheres of our brains as well.

Calleman said ‘the western hemisphere has dominated’ in the world.
He goes on to say - throughout the course of the interview - that the concept of ‘dominance’ in any form has run its course, and that this can be shown in the Mayan Calendar and in evolution as a whole.

This interested me greatly, as I have been on an inner balancing adventure of my own for the past few years.

A year or so ago I began writing about a shift in my physical body that I was experiencing as ‘holographic brain balancing’. No, not a new healing technique ~ although I am sure it will emerge as such in some form and be offered by someone(s) if it is not already! ~ but a new way of perceiving and functioning in the world.

My experience, after having what the hospital called a ‘brainstem stroke’ on June 5th of this year, has been of a relaxing into the centre of my ‘head’, of my awareness and of an entirely ‘new’ and very different way of functioning. I am no longer physically able to allow any one ‘side’ of my body or my awareness to ‘dominate’ at all.

The first example I have of this is from an early morning walk, a couple of months ago, only 4 weeks after the ‘stroke’. I was working on balancing my physical sight (my visual cortex was ‘altered’ by the cerebral event) using various techniques from various healing traditions. I heard, quite clearly, in my inner awareness “non-dominance”. It literally stopped me in my tracks. “What?” I wondered. “Non-dominance”, I heard again. Then, “Close your right eye”. Like many westerners I was born with or trained into ‘right-handedness’. Meaning, I write with and appear to have more dexterity with, my right hand, right side (although in martial arts it was the reverse, interestingly enough) etc. I did as I was instructed, and felt my whole body instantly relax. As I looked out through my physical ‘left eye’ (the myopic one) at a blurry landscape, my feet felt secure under me, my balance restored, my awareness opened further and I felt completely at ease and in oneness. I opened my right eye to ‘see clearly’ and the feeling in the body vanished. Repetitions of this ‘experiment’ on that and future mornings produced exactly the same results. Close the ‘dominant portal’ (right eye) and relax into balance, serenity, ease and grace. Open it and perceive the world through what was a totally unconscious filter of ‘dominant’; a ‘dominant’ or ‘dominance-skewed’ view of the world. Literally!!!

What a discovery! No, I have not continued to use only my left eye, although it has needed exercises and a bit of ‘practice’ to bring steadiness (and, also improvement in clarity, which was unexpected) and balance to the visual cortex.

Calleman also mentions, in this interview, the correlation of left and right brain hemispheres with the unification of the philosophical orientations of East and West... which is one of the issues I am aware my soul incarnated at this time to integrate. Even more fascinating!

Don’t you love it when your guidance gives you practical, direct and THOROUGH answers to a relatively undeveloped query? ;)

This integration allows for the evolution and trust of the intuition. I am a living example, currently. For the past three years I have been in a process of learning to live by only putting energy into what are known as ‘inspired actions’. Everything else just flatlines. It has been quite the adventure! ;)

Did you know that the ‘Berlin’ area of the longitudinal axis discussed by Calleman and known for centuries as a pivotal world circuit, correlates with the hypothalamus of the brain in the human body? This is the area of the brain that sends out co-creational impulses to our bodies and lives!

My physical ‘viewpoint’ has been altered permanently - in tune with, it seems - the cosmological dance of creation, at least from the “Mayan” point of view. ;)

The Energy of Completion

~ Letting go is part of Dreaming Forward ~

Today is the 9th day of the 9th month of 2009, or 090909.

This is quite an auspicious day!

09-09-09 marks a important transition time on Earth. The number 9 is linked with sacred geometry, humanitarianism, and completion; three repetitions of 9 marks a stargate, an inter-dimensional portal, and major download of cosmic energies.

9/9/09 holds the vibration of Completion on all 3 levels; physical, mental and spiritual. This is a Phase Completion. This is the completion of the dualistic model in consciousness. What does that mean? Well, to translate it to the mind, it ‘means’ that consciousness,, not just our little, limited human egoic minds, but CONSCIOUSNESS on this lovely planet of ours, is moving into Oneness. This is the time when Unity and Love will be the actions that ‘work’ in our world. This is the Great Turning, a transition in cyclic momentum that we may harness to change how we experience and live in harmony with our planet and with one another ~ and All Our Relations.

In Chinese numerology, the number 9 is honored as the ending, or completion, that brings new beginnings (a sort of graduation). It is associated with conclusions, and clearing up loose ends. In western numerology ‘9’ can represent a point of evolution from which one is poised to create the new, while completing what has gone before. The number 9 is the ‘most senior’ in the series of 0-9, which means that, as in life, the ‘elder’ or ‘crone’ has seen and learned the lessons of various phases of life and now holds the wisdom of the completion.

Honor what needs to end in your energy field today! You have cosmic timing on your side to help you complete any transitions and get ready for the new.

As you look within this portal to find the stillness, you will begin to feel the vibration of excitement about doing one thing today more than any other. The excitement is a hint for you. Serving your Source alignment is the reason you are on Earth now. It is time to let go of all ‘old’ concepts of what service means, in any tradition, in any lineage, and to feel the essence of divine play in your heart; to dance with it, flow with it, and allow the new to find you. The new cycle is one of connecting, of reaching out in oneness to share the joy and delight that flows through you uniquely; to share the unique flow of Source that you are. Take this information into your heart and allow yourself to truly receive all that you Are. Allow the flow to fill your heart, embrace you, and full-fill your Soul! Tuning up for the Next Cycle

I picked up the harp the other day, realizing that she was ‘out of tune’ due most likely to shifts in the temperature and weather of late. As I plugged in my tuning device and prepared to adjust her strings, I could feel the same process happening within me. The whole experience of the past weeks, post-solstice, has been a process of refinement, of deep inner listening and reverence for the more subtle flows of Source above, below, within and without. I found, in attempting to ‘tune’ the harp I was holding, that she was asking for a deeper resonance from me. This time we did not use the external calibrated device, but tuned ourselves to one another. It was joyous indeed. I have tuned the guitar this way for a lifetime, but had not yet felt enough competence to do this with my dear harping companion.

I am finding the same in nature. A place of lushness, of full embracing of the essence of the LIFE that surrounds and enfolds me, as we share the experience in oneness. This morning’s pre-dawn walk yielded the usual cottontails, a pair of coyotes and the noises that the local deer make within the brush on the embankment. My furry companion was enthralled. She is learning (she is young yet) to ‘walk with me’ in and between the worlds where we meet All Our Relations with respect and reverence and, in turn, are greeted much the same. She admittedly has ‘chasing’ issues with the cottontails and squirrels. Far too tempting... although she tries valiantly to be still with me and watch and listen.

The period of energetic turbulence we now find ourselves in can best be navigated from that place ~ or still, deep watching and listening, from the heartspace ~ from our centres.

I found this paragraph in one of the many emails I receive ...
“Fine tuning means letting go of all or any energies or purposes within us that we embodied in the past, and that we will no longer need in a new reality. It is a sort of purification process, as we are now becoming our true and authentic selves at yet another level, and this involves getting to that pure gold nugget of who we really are as individuals. We are not really purifying now, but more fine-tuning…extracting our higher level purpose that is no longer related to raising the consciousness of the planet. This rang true for me in a way much now rings true for only moments in the ever-shifting kaleidoscope of embodying fluidity. (Things are changing faster than many of us want to observe) ;)

Remembering Conscious Dreaming

Today is a time for setting new intentions, (it is a new moon, a ‘supermoon’ at that, aligned with both Venus and Neptune in ways that call for deep listening and remembering) for opening to your hearts’ desires, in the form of the deep yearning, calling voice within.

This new moon brings the opportunity for celebrating SELF... not the little, limited, programmed, conditioned voice of ‘I’, but the voice of the heart, that speaks from a place of purity, of connectedness, of wisdom and of knowing.

There are many tools, methods and ways for setting intentions. Sometimes we need a formal ‘form’ for doing so. Other times, it is the out-pouring, upwelling from the heart that stirs us.

One ‘form’ of setting new moon intentions that has always been fun for me, is to send ‘mySELF’ an email, during the window (within a few hours after the exact time of the new moon) of the seeding time. As I am writing to Source, the note can take any shape, contain images or not, be long, short, succinct or detailed. I hold the feeling states, the vision, in my heart, body and soul, then hit ‘send’... releasing the energies of intention into the Universal ALL.

Of course, the mail comes into my ‘inbox’ as I have sent it to SELF.
The joy and surprise is in opening that particular piece of mail, scanning it as Source speaking to Source... and being joyously surprised and pleased (like waiting for santa claus) at what signs begin to show at the first quarter and the full moon timings.

Set your intentions (like your sails) - send our your ship (your message) ~ and watch the skies for the signs to arrive! It also helps, sometimes, to file the email away somewhere to peruse again at the full moon time, so that you can celebrate the signs arriving for you at the first time of flowering in the lunar cycle. It is a time to celebrate... to add ease and grace and joy and FUN to your conscious dreaming.

And, if you perhaps encounter resistance to your receiving, remember... in the world of duality ONLY, does there exist a split between sending(giving) and receiving, between offering and acceptance, between ‘anything’ and ‘anything else’. Transcending duality is inherent in wholeness... perhaps seed to plant at this, quite powerful, new moon.

Releasing and Receiving

~ Finding the flow in reflected alignment ~

Today, or perhaps ‘tomorrow’ or ‘tonight’, (or whatever time the last quarter moon arrives for you) is a time for releasing and letting go, for opening the hands to let fall what we have held to so tightly, and to ~ with those open hands, receive ~ what Source offers us ~ a hitherto perhaps unknown or unrecognized, lately uncelebrated aspect of SELF.

Moon cycles offer reflection, an opportunity to see our authentic selves in what is literally and figuratively a ‘new light’. They draw our inner and emotional energies into the deep cycle of SELF; in that we reflect ourselves to ourselves in a wholly new way... unique to each of us, important to the all. Moonlight reflects inner light - and as this alignment of the ‘last quarter’ arrives for us, we see our inner reflection in the ‘waning moon’, the ebb of our emotional tides, the drawing inward of our awareness, to what is hopefully an as yet undiscovered country within. (or maybe, just maybe, a landscape now remembered... it is time)

Our relationship with Source is reflected directly in our daily lives. “As they perceive their Gods, so their lives will proceed” ~ badly misquoted I am sure, from Marion Zimmer Bradley.

This is an ancient knowing. As we allow larger, higher, more all-inclusive truths to replace our limited understanding of subjective truths, our perception of source, of life, is cleansed and deepened.

William Blake wrote “...when the doors of perception are cleansed, man will see life as it is... infinite...”.

The Divine Mother’s feedback on this particular ‘moonthly’ alignment is to relax and allow... rest between the phases of your life, as you reste within this reflection of all that is. Relax and let go. Release your ‘history’ and drink from the inner well of abundance and plenty, fully released into the NOW.

What does the NOW have in store for you? Will you offer yourself to your SELF in the certain knowledge that you ARE a divine manifestation? That your life is the signature of your soul’s journey?
That the moon of releasing and receiving is both without and within?

As children we are taught to ‘find the face’ (the rabbit, the image) in the moon. Which of your many faces (facets) is this moon revealing?

What is there, hidden in your hands, (or your pockets) whose time has come to be let go? Are you open to receive, as your hands fall open? As your hands... so your heart. May you open as a flower, and reflect your full bloom.

Shaking the Inner Tree of Life

~ Finding the balance point within any split in awareness ~

For so many, last evening, (or whatever time the eclipse and ensuing full moon arrived for you) was interestingly uneventful yet presaged upheavals in a very deep way. Eclipse energies are very inner and very intense. They draw a part of us into dormancy; so that the light can shine on aspects of self we still need to see (bring to light, or work through... it is different for each of us). In this year (2009) of choice points, where the energies are at boiling point, it is often challenging to deal with patterns that we have seemingly overcome, or that seem to not want to budge ~ no matter how much work we have done on them!

The Divine Mother’s feedback on this particular alignment continues to be “Ssssshhhh. Listen. And let go. Do not make the ghosts of your past into a reality. Drink from the inner well of wisdom and allow these last bits of non-reality to be absorbed into the All”.

Last week I was privileged to give a webinar on Reconciling Consciousness and Money, for Whispering Energy ~ http://www.whisperingenergy.com. During this download on inner and outer abundance, the Divine Mother asked a question for those listening to ponder.

‘Resting in the assurance that abundance, money and love are all the same vibration, where in your body, life and/or finances are you split between have and have not? ‘

It took a couple of days closer to the vortex of the eclipse for me to get my download. The split for me was still held in little slivers of the warrior and the healer archetypes. What does it mean to reconcile those archetypes and hold the sacred space of/for both? What does ‘both’ look like? Many people feel that one cannot be a warrior and a healer, both. The archetypal energies contradict one another. That has not been my experience in this, or other lives. It is time for this world to realign the archetype of the warrior into one of fierce compassion, one that lives not by the sword, but through the heart. That appears to be part of my alignment. I will not pretend to have been unaware of this, nor that I was not a bit surprised to find ‘more’ of a programmed pattern I have been working toward reconciling for oh, decades, in this lifetime. ;)

I was reminded of a series of books I love, about a woman whose soul alignment is that of healer/warrior. The character is a wolf walker, one with nature through her bonded wolf and with the pack through the pack song. She is an energy healer of a kind not known for ages, trained as a warrior as well. The warrior training honed her strength and courage, to help the pack, the ‘helpless ones’ in nature, that would need her voice, her hands, her healing. It was a means, not an end in itself.

The Divine Mother has spoken through many in this time, saying, “This world will not change, until we redefine what it is to be a warrior”. The consummate warrior is at one with her/his skills, with strength, with courage and with forbearance. How much the same, the alignment of healing? Each a divine conduit for grace, in much the same form, although in duality it appears not.

The one Xena episode that I ever watched was a unification of these archetypes, as is the character in the wolfwalker books. In this episode, Xena is pregnant and cannot fight. The village she is visiting, to learn the deeper ways of Spirit, falls under attack. In silken robes, rather than battle gear, she stands before the village, projecting her intense love for the village, its people and companion animals, as an energetic shield ~ as she has been taught by the sages with whom she studies. The approaching army is decimated... by the energy of love.

What do the warrior and the healer have in common? Love for those they heal and protect.

What is the reconciliation of any split in consciousness? Find the love and you find the answer.

Aug 01, Saturday. Traditional Lammas. The waxing out-of-bounds Moon is passing through the late degrees of Sagittarius and is visible in the constellation of Scorpio. Venus (1 Cancer) opposite Pluto (1 Capricorn)

Lughnasadh is the gaelic (celtic) holyday associated with the beginning of August, celebrating the harvest time. The harvest is also associated with the disseminating moon (what we 'see' as three quarters full) that waxes at this time. Lammas is the later established, 'Anglo-fied' version of this celebration.

Lugh was the Irish Sun God and was also known as 'Samildanach' which means 'many-skilled'. Thus the celebration in his honour involved the demonstration of prowess in the skills attributed to him both as a warrior and as a craftsman. The festival of Lugnassadh honoured the Sun King's triumphal harvest, celebrating the riches and abundance given by the heat and light of summer.

Lugh represents a newer phase of development in the mythology of Ireland. He was apparently introduced to the Celtic pantheon around the time of Christ. His coming marks the rising ascendancy all across Britain, Europe and the Mediterranean of the male gods of the Sun over the Sun Goddess known to the people of the ancient world.

Originally, this Lugh's feast would have been a festival of ripened grain, celebrating the Mother's bounty. The motif of Lughnasadh is the triumph of the light of summer over the darkness of winter. The Summer King, having taken the throne from the Winter King now celebrates the power of the deeds that led to his victory. In the Sacred Feminine traditions, the solar feminine is honored at this time... and Her infinite resources of light. Not familiar with the solar Goddesses? Becoming the eye of the storm

Greetings from the stillpoint, the eye of the storm. ;)

Some of you may know that for many years I studied, and then taught martial arts. There is one lesson, from a book about training, that stands out in my memory as so very pertinent to this time we are now experiencing. I do not remember the title nor the author of this little book, but its’ message ~ to be as the eye of the storm.

The energy of any situation was described as that of a hurricane; cyclical in form and in the nature of its travel, the ‘damage’ is caused at the periphery, where things are most turbulent and therefore most dangerous and cataclysmically messy. We are now in such a time, energetically. All that we have built for ourselves, to identify ourselves, is being swept away. A shamanic death on steroids. An opportunity to get out of our own way.

The teaching in this little book was to become like the calm at the center of a storm... not engaging, not identifying with nor becoming any part of the spin. I remember reading this the very first time, lying on a lawn chair with my sleeping bag tucked up around me, waiting to go on yet another mystical journey with my spiritual teacher. It made such sense, this story. When one engages the ‘enemy’, be it inner or outer in circumstance, one becomes part of the ‘storm’. The archetype of ‘warrior’ predestines the ‘war’. The more identified with or caught up in the turmoil you become, the more the likelihood of you being tossed to the outer rim of the action, where the physical nature of all that you most want to protect is thrashed and beaten and altered by the storm’s random fury.

Where will you make your stand? Will you, in your transformative, re-birthing state, try to butt heads with the winds of change? Or will you perhaps bend, like the sapling, the willow, allowing yourself to toss and twist into a new way of being? Are you exhausted from the buffeting? If so, or even if not, there is another option. Be still. Go within.

In the Vedic traditions, much is written about the “stillpoint between the turning worlds”. This is the place of peace where the experience of stillness (sometimes stuckness or limbo) is what manifests due to the lack of friction within. When there is so little friction that we cannot detect movement, we can surrender to the peace of the experience, or rage against what feels like the dying of the light... fighting on, in the midst of the spin, as the ‘enemy’ takes us with it, high up in the cyclone, held within the cycle of turbulence, spinning down the drain. What is dying is the reactivity, the response patterns we are conditioned to hold, when what we have been conditioned to value is altered or swept away. Let them go. You do not need them.

What is truly authentic to you will remain, washed clean by the winds and waters, energized by the lightning, fed by the peace that finally, finally finds you.

Giving and Receiving ~ mastering reciprocity

Many of us have running within our emotional and physical bodies, dysfunctional programs around what it is to give, and/or receive. More often than not, the worst fear around these states of mind is a double bind or deadly embrace between taking and ‘being taken’. In other words, we fear becoming a ‘taker’ AND we fear being ‘taken’; the people, places, things, opportunities that we love the most being tripped away from us, through loss of some kind.

The ‘way out’ of the trap of dysfunctional giving / dysfunctional receiving is to ask Spirit what the ‘AND’ condition is. If I could vibrate with truly healthy and balanced giving AND receiving, what would it feel like? What would my consciousness be like? The answer is typically something like “balanced flow of always more resources in than out, generosity in appropriate measure, and being unconditionally supported in ways as yet unimagined and most likely un-experienced”.

When you find your ‘AND’ condition, listen for the immediate sounds of the ‘but-but’ bird... “But that’s impossible. But that can never happen. But life is not like that”. This is the voice of the conditioned mind. It is trying to keep you safe in the ways it has been trained to do so. Our minds have been trained to protect us by referencing what has gone before: what we have learned, our conditioning, family values, genetic inheritance.... the mind is not trained to ‘let go’ and listen to the heart. Your mind will always answer you with what there is to fear ~ until it has been re-trained to flow with your intuitive guidance.

Allowing oneself to receive unconditionally is equally as important as learning to give unconditionally. What does that mean? The answer to that query is another. What does it mean to you? What does it mean to your conscious self, and what does it mean to your programmed states of mind? When you can truly answer from the heart, you will know.

The heartspace is sacrosanct, a safe haven where you and Spirit journey together, inseparable and unconditionally One. The heartspace IS the middle way.

So often the ‘middle way’ is talked of as a place of practiced neutrality, a place where all opposites are reconciled and all attachment ceases. I find this not to be. The open heart greets paradox with love and understanding. One or both of the tenets are ‘untrue’. ;)

The heart greets fear with love, misunderstanding with compassion and ignorance with patience. When you experience doubt or fear, especially in the areas of giving or receiving, ask your heart. Let not the mind interfere. Your heart will tell you. It holds your true, unbridled passion, for radiance, for truth, for peace, for the love that passes all else in its comprehension.

Remember your heart, and be absorbed therein. Receive her blessings, as you give from the grace that flows from them. Be the embodiment you came to Be. The heart is the middle way. Have you consulted yours today?

Happy Inter-dependence Day!

Independence or Inter-dependance.... the choice is up to you.

In the ‘states’, today is Independence Day. Interesting concept. For some, independence and dependency are two sides of a tricky sword, or constantly flipping coin. What is the higher vibratory state that transcends both, allowing individuation within the Divine Whole?

What if your soul alignment is meant to be wholly individuated AND wholly contained within the sacred space of Divinity ~ AND in collaboration with others of like vibration? Do you have a reference point for this? Most do not. The heartspace is where this is possible. Your heart, in alignment with the heart of the Divine, in whatever form She most graces you, AND in collaboration with the optimally held heartspaces of those who have similarly chosen Source Alignment as authenticity.

What comes up for many is the fear of the ‘group grope’, fear of ‘going along’ and an equal and opposite fear of ‘going it alone’ and therefore, ‘being made wrong’ or projected upon. What is there left within you that resonates with the polarizing effects of these beliefs? The beliefs that you will ‘lose your independence’ or ‘go along at the expense of your own alignment or truth’? Or are you in fear of walking your worst fears around this subject, whatever they might be?

All this is mind. It has nothing to do with the heart. It has been said that ‘the truth will set you free’. Whose truth? Are there degrees and variations of truth? There seem to be. For each and every positioned reality, there are ‘truths’ ~ all subjective. What then, is the freedom found in objective truth? Perhaps the knowing, the inner certainty found in flow, in the constant of ever-changing, expanding consciousness.

What if Embodying Fluidity as you, and only you, can so BE, IS the ultimate and final answer to the question”Is it true? ~ or ~ What is truth?”

Remember, a question and its answer occupy the same space in awareness... there is no ‘time’ between. Ask, and see how the answers set you free.

The Intricate Art of Receptivity

How does one truly achieve receptivity? Embrace the receptive principle? Why does receptivity seem different than creativity? Is it? In the I Ching, the hexagrams of the Creative and the Receptive are first and second, the foundational building blocks of all other vibrations. In the Taoist symbol for Tai Chi, the yin and yang energies dance together, each holding the seed of the other, in endless cyclic form.

I am experiencing a personal learning cycle in Receptivity at the moment. For those who know or don’t know, I experienced what the medical community is calling a brainstem ‘stroke’ on Friday, the 5th of June, approximately mid-day. And yes, thank you all so much! I have seen Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor’s TED video (many times, before this happened, actually) and think her insights are marvelous, as is her book, “A Stroke of Insight”.

My cerebral adventure was not as severe as hers, nor did I know what was happening to me (being a former data analyst,not a neuro-anatomist). I had an episode of extreme dizziness, during which I really wanted to just lie down and let Source balance me, my left side became very heavy and numb, and, finally, the left side of my face went slack, nerves and muscles taking a ‘time out’. ;) At that point, my partner dialed ‘911’ and EMS took over. Thank Goddess!! I was receiving oxygen and something intravenously within minutes, which undoubtedly has helped my ‘amazing’ and ‘mystifying’ recovery (the doctors’ words, not mine).

The medical professionals have been unable to determine actual cause with any certainty. What appeared as an apparent occlusion, or obstruction in one of the veins that serves the brainstem in the first CT that was taken, disappeared after an hour and a half, and the MRI was clear... as was the second CT the next morning.

What I experienced was, ‘no pain whatsoever’. I became extremely dizzy, felt very tired, and walked into the house from outside, but had to go up the stairs to the main room on all fours. Too dizzy. I thought I was answering what my partner was asking me quite coherently, but apparently I was speaking ‘gibberish’ and slurring heavily. I remember being asked if I wanted to be driven to emergency, and thinking that was ridiculous. At that point, while trying to lie down on the sofa, my left side went numb. I could not use my left arm or hand, and the left side of my face ‘fell’, according to observation. I could not feel it, myself. I kept thinking it was absurd to go to hospital, as I felt ‘ok’ although compromised. I thought I probably just needed a nap! Good thing I couldn’t speak for myself, it seems!

My speech began to return within 3 hours, my left side began to function again within 4 hours. I woke up with full use of my left hand the very next morning and was released from hospital the next day, approximately 24 - 30 hours after having been admitted into the ER.

Throughout this adventure, I have been held and supported by the Divine. My body experienced shock at ‘not functioning properly’ and, on waking that next morning in hospital, I witnessed a bit of physical fear, when my left side was working perfectly but my eyes were not. I did not feel afraid. The doctors kept using the “stroke” word, while the inner voice of Spirit kept saying “Be still". You are taken care of. No need to buy into this. What will you choose to make real?” I told the ER physician that I felt well enough to go home. Everyone laughed. I could not yet walk by myself without needing to hold onto something! And yet, later in the day, I was released.

The difference between what the body experiences in order to keep itself intact, and what we feel emotionally and in our consciousness can be quite profound. What I felt emotionally was gratitude. What I felt in consciousness was a bit of incredulity, the surreal nature of having something happen ‘out of the blue’ and not knowing why nor the source thereof. For the last two years, my life has been a training program for surrendering into flow. Why should this be different?

When ‘events’ happen in our lives, the most important observation is the inner truth. What is the benefit here? What was I not perceiving that I really need to see? (Especially in something like this, involving my eyes and perceptual field) What adjustment is being made to my alignment? It feels as though I have been ‘re-booted’, both brain and vision. My physical perception radically altered, I must now depend on the balance of inner and ‘outer’ vision in order to ‘do’ anything in the physical world. How perfect ~ in a perverse sort of way!

My ‘doors of perception’ have been altered. The cleansing is yet to be. I awake each morning grateful to open my eyes and ‘see’. I choose receptivity for the message held in this adventure and the outpouring of ‘help’ and care that has come my way.

An utterly astounding array of ancient cultures built their greatest architectures -- tombs, temples, cairns and sacred observatories -- so that they aligned with the solstices and equinoxes. Many of us know that Stonehenge is a perfect alignment with both summer and winter solstices.

Not as many people are familiar with Newgrange, a beautiful megalithic site in Ireland. This huge circular stone structure is estimated to be 5,000 years old, older by centuries than Stonehenge, older than the Egyptian pyramids! It was built to receive a shaft of sunlight deep into its central chamber at dawn on winter solstice.

Hundreds of other megalithic structures throughout Europe are oriented to the solstices and the equinoxes. The blossoming field of archaeoastronomy studies such sacred sites in the Americas, Asia, Indonesia, and the Middle East.
Recent research into the medieval Great Zimbabwe in sub-Saharan Africa (also known as the "African Stonehenge") indicates a similar purpose. In North America, one of the most famous such sites is the Sun Dagger of Chaco Canyon, New Mexico, built a thousand years ago by the Chacoans, ancestors of the Pueblo people. Even cultures that followed a moon-based calendar seemed also to understand the importance of these sun-facing seasonal turning points.
Why? Because the solstice is an opening between the worlds, it is a time when intentions are amplified and the field of infinite possibilities can be engaged in a direct and meaningful way.

Real-time Self Care - The Art of Fluid Perception

Self Care has been one of the ‘hot’ topics among those who work with me of late. How does one achieve real-time Self Care, in the face of the energetic turbulence we are all surfing?

The answer lies in a shift in perception. Albert Einstein is quoted as saying "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." Too true. When life seems to have dealt you the hand of ‘overwhelm’, it is time, truly, to shift your perception. What you need, in terms of Self Care, is a fresh point of view, enabling you to practice Self Care first, rather than ‘later’.

One of my favorite spiritual books, Mr. God This is Anna, by Fynn, is the story of a little girl with an intimate relationship with the Divine. In her description to her friend, Fynn, she says that most of us have only limited points of view, but the Divine has “infinite viewing points” ~ or, in the words of the five-year-old avatar “infinite points to view”.
When you choose to open your perception a bit wider, to allow in the infinite ocean of possibilities, you are aligning with that Divine perceptual field of infinite lenses of perception.

Unexpected miracles are energetic alignments that happen when we let go of our default reactive states (thought patterns and habits of behaviour) and choose to allow in the optimal solution at any moment.

Ask inwardly: What am I not seeing?
What am I not allowing myself to perceive?
What is the optimal solution?
~ and choose to trust that it will be revealed, in the moment when it is needed (usually not before). ;)

Aligning with Divine Essence

Sometimes we get so involved in the day-to-day that we forget how
fluid things really are. We forget the power that runs through our
hearts and bodies in every moment of every day.
We forget to connect, each morning, with our own inherent Divinity,
and co-create each day in joyous celebration!

Try this if it feels good to you: Each morning, connect with the
Divine Mother, with Source ~ however that feels right for you. Allow
yourself to be held in that vibration of perfect flow, of perfect co-
creation. Ask Source:
"What shall we co-create today?"
And listen, as you go about your day... delighting in the wonder of
excitement and anticipation!

A few days ago this quotation arrived in my inbox. What a perfect
way to see oneself, in the mirror of Her love.

Standing in Alignment: What will you stand FOR?

I have recently been confronted about world conditions and how aligning in the heart is an impractical stance. A kind gentleman called in to my radio broadcast and went on at length on how the world has so much wrong with it, that we MUST stand against poverty, disease, injustice, and all of the wrongdoings that are so prevalent at this time. He said that, for him, the avatars like Christ and Buddha were warriors first, and that we must fight with and for the Light.

At one time, I was a member of the security team that ‘protected’ my spiritual teacher. We were self-proclaimed “Warriors of Light”. I am a longtime martial artist, with a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate. I had my own Dojo (training school) for 12 years. I taught young people (mostly women) how to stand in their power. I did NOT teach them to EVER stand AGAINST.... ANYTHING. To quote the film “The Karate Kid” ~ ‘never prevent war by fighting in one’. This is truth. This is real. In the face of all that needs to change on this beautiful planet of ours, and I agree there is much... nothing will happen unless we change our concept of what it is to be a warrior.

Dan Millman, wrote of this challenge, in his book “Way of the Peaceful Warrior”, a novel about confronting the false personas, the false ‘demons’ within and moving completely into the flow.

I, too, confronted within myself the inner pacifist, the one who would walk away rather than confront - even if it meant sacrificing the truth. I went to martial arts training to correct this imbalance. I was once mocked in a black belt class for ‘backing up’ and not countering an attack. I had to learn to stand FOR my own heart, my own energy, my own strength and safety... and also never to threaten those things in another, if it could possibly be prevented.

There is an old saying in the martial arts. So old, in fact, that none know its origins. “Hold peace rather than conflict. Hurt rather than maim. Maim rather than kill. Kill only as a last resort, for all of life is precious ~ and none can be replaced.”

To feel that life is a battle and we, as light-holders, are obligated to go to war is the old paradigm, the old cycle that was driven by the energies of competition, conflict and violent resolution.

Nothing could be further from Truth. I was raised to ‘choose love’ even in the face of the most challenging circumstances. I also, like all of you, had no real basis of understanding for what that meant. Sometimes I would ‘choose love’ through clenched teeth, wanting to speak my truth but knowing that if I did so I would be hurt or someone else would. Other times I would ‘choose love’ when I was really smarting from something someone had said. For intuitives, a verbal slam is every bit as painful as a physical blow. I heard someone say recently that they would rather ‘take the hit’ than verbal abuse, because “it is over quicker that way”.

The warrior archetype is changing. It must. This is necessary. A peaceful warrior is not vengeful. A warrior of the heart does not carry the energy of the ‘avenging angel’, of ‘win-lose’ or of positional hierarchy. A warrior of the heart cannot stand ‘against’ but must make the choice to stand ‘FOR’, in peace, in fortitude, in forbearance, and in strength.

The archetype of the new warrior is that of courage to look within; courage to face the defended positions in consciousness that limit our perceptions, our awareness and our ability to recognize and accept that truth is subjective, that truth can be found in all cultures, all forms, and in every... single... heart. There is not one soul incarnate or out-of-body that is not divinely connected to truth at the core.

The world must change. Yes. And violence can never again be thought of nor held energetically as the ‘only viable option’. War is not a solution. It is an archaic, sad course of action, for a world that continues to choose ignorance and blame.

I have worked long and hard within myself to transcend past versions of warrior. I have ‘fought the battle within’. I am NOT a pacifist. HOWEVER ~ I agree with Mother Teresa, who said:
“ I was once asked why I don’t participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I will be there.”

Be well my sister and fellow warriors. May the love of the Divine Mother find you, and may you lay your weapons at Her feet.

I received this quote in my inbox the other day, as I was finishing an energy work session with my friend Max. As we ended our conversation, my phone began beeping annoyingly. An older model its battery long unused, it was not holding a charge. Max pointed out, amid chuckles, that 'the communications device has a low battery"... ROFL. We had been discussing an upcoming playshop / class we will be offering and were having trouble pulling the words together for the upcoming announcements.

I moved house last week. I did as Source asked and followed the bread crumbs of my heart and intuition to a place I have longed to spend a bit of time. I packed my car and a truck and 'moved' over 300 miles... So, yes, the "communications device" that I AM, has a low battery. An "older model" it is having a bit of trouble holding a charge. ;) Guess I need an upgrade. What Source told me was that I needed to look again, from inside my own heart at the communications coming through me... and to care for and protect my own energies so that Her communications could be received through the heart, from Her heart, in a pure, clear stream of Love. I moved here for the quiet. I moved to ground myself in stillness and sanctuary. I moved in surrender to a larger form of life.

As I was unpacking on April 16th, the planet Venus came out of her retrograde phase and stationed direct, dancing with the moon early that morning, beginning Her initiation into Embodying Divinity. There are moments and days when divine timing takes my breath away. This was one of them. Working with the Venus initiations is a great way to participate in the cosmic dance of the Divine Feminine energies.

In archetypal astrology, the Moon occultation over Venus (waning moon hiding the planet venus in the early morning hours in North America) symbolizes the Goddess Inanna's arrival at the first Gate on her descent into the 'underworld' (inner knowing, unconscious, shifting archetypal realities). The first gate is called the Gate of Divine Authority. Passing through, Inanna is asked to relinquish her crown (crown chakra) and therefore the direct connection to the Divine Mother that She innately Is. She 'surrenders' her crown chakra (Sahasrara, the thousand petaled lotus of light) reqlinquishing her divine knowing and forgetting, for a time, her true essence. This, the first gate, begins her initiation into the unconscious realms that pare us down to our cores so that all misperceptions and untruths are removed or transformed. How perfect to be moving from knowing into Being.

A lot has been said about moving from the mind to the heart. In an earlier blogpost I wrote about an encounter with a hawk, one of my winged guides, and as mentioned in that posting, 'my'Hawk Medicine, the archetype of Messenger, went into transition. I was given a 'new' winged one as guide and mentor. I was introduced to the medicine of Swan. Hawk medicine is that of giving the message from Source without any attachment to how it is received. With Hawk as my guide, I learned to detach from the impulse to interpret or cushion or edit the messages from Spirit that came through me, so that the recipients thereof could take responsibility for receiving and integrating what Source had intended for them. I learned to let go of my mind and speak directly as I was guided to do from Spirit.

As this archetype transitions, from Messenger to Embodiment, I am learning not only to allow Source to speak through me undiluted, but to live and breathe and function from the heartspace in each moment. Swan medicine is the medicine of surrendering the body into the spiral dance of Great Mystery, into Her Grace and flow, not judging what one sees or experiences, but opening, and opening again, until one with the flow of Divine Plan, existing simultaneously between the worlds, in a state of pure and seamless certainty.

When Inanna leaves the underworld, She reclaims Her crown (Her divine connection). When the 'ugly duckling' returns from surrendering into Great Mystery, She has become the Swan.

May the above, the below, the without and within, embrace us all, as we remember our stillpoints, and communicate through the 'heartline'.

We are moving from a paradigm of transmutation into one of transformation. In transmutation, change occurs by processing toxic energies through our bodies and consciousness. Transformation is entirely different. When we step into a new paradigm of transformation, we learn to hold energetic space that is in resonance with our soul’s intentions, allowing other, more dissonant, energies to transform around us. In other words, we allow our lives to morph around us to fit and to support our chosen alignments.

Fluid embodiment is relaxing into the essence of who we are, letting go of anything and everything that does not support that. To hold a fluid alignment is to find the balance within, “finding your inner weeble” that may wobble but does not, as their ad used to say, “fall down”. The work of embodying fluidity is learning how to hold energetic space in the heart while simultaneously holding space for change in our bodies and in the energies around us.

When we make a commitment to embody fluidity, we are activating choice points that begin to dissolve the self-identifications that fix us in a particular spin. You know what I’m talking about. We self-identify in the spins of worry, anxiety, fear, hopelessness, the victim position, and our woundedness. These are all versions of defended positions. They all shape the ‘spin’ that runs our bodies and our lives...until we choose differently and change things. It is a law of physics that to change a spin, we need only change one element. One. What do you need to change to alter your spin?

A belief system is only a thought pattern that you have, consciously or unconsciously, chosen to defend (often with your survival instincts, and certainly in your survival programming). When we buy into our belief systems they become “I AM” statements, not only a defended position, but an identified one.
How often do we bypass the obvious? “I am” my astrological sign, my country of origin, a family member, a ‘this’, a ‘that’. “I think” this way or that way? Descartes said, “I think therefore I AM”. The vibrational principle is correct. The minute you defend a position you fix your spin.

Our lives are most often lived as a series of defended positions in attitude and consciousness... until we choose differently. Embodying fluidity is the antithesis of identifying with a fixed position. It is a choice to embody flexibility and to BE a frequency holder for truth, for light and for love in the most authentic way possible.

When we commit to residing in flow, we often really mean “Well, I want to be fluid, to be supported in and by the Divine Flow, but I want to keep the following identities and defensive postures because... (Fill in the blank with all of your very good reasons, and the ones your unconscious mind has, when yours run out!). That is not moving into flow. It is aligning with resistance and fear.

When you are ready to release your fears, to relax into the fluid, flexible, sphere of the truest vibration that resonates within, you are ready to embody fluidity.

The Embodying Fluidity program from Delphic Wave is an energetic learning experience, aligned with the choice to hold an open heart, and to allow what no longer resonates to transform without taking on, without dragging toxicity through your body or your mind. It is learning to hold an alignment in infinite flexibility rather than learning new ways to surf or transmute the spin.

Embodying fluidity is a practice of holding a safe, energetic space in the heart and using a cocoon of Divine support to allow transformation, where dissonant energies are invited into a safe space where Source can ‘do the work’.

The only thing we can surrender into is the vibration of our authentic uniqueness. Choice activates change. Be the choice and you have become the change.

Embracing the Sacred Feminine ~ What is ‘Yin’ meditation?

Yin energy is receptive energy. Unlike traditional forms of sitting or walking meditation where you direct your energy upward, yin meditation is done in a completely relaxed state. One can sit or lie down (my favorite) and relax into the arms of the divine... letting oneself be held. Letting oneself be supported in the heart-space, a safe nurturing environment that is the embodiment of Self-Care.

The true forms of what one could call feminine meditation (knowing full well that Source is neither masculine nor feminine and always contains ‘both’) are: Relaxing into Presence, and Entering the Creative Flow. When you are doing something creative, you have entered the ‘zone’ of the sacred feminine. You have entered the flow.

One traditional way of entering this creative space is by navigating the labyrinth. As many of you know, walking a labyrinth is a journey into OneSelf. Traditional labyrinthine structures like the famous one at Chartres Cathedral in France have 11 circuits inward and 11 outward. “Abbreviated” structures typically have 7 circuits inward and outward, one for each level of chakra vibration. This architecture is based on numerology and uses the sequential accelerating vibrations of master numbers to ‘peel away the layers’ of the workaday mind to uncover the truth in the stillness within.

Another opportunity in consciousness that the labyrinth provides is in circumambulating sacred space or ‘holy ground’. When we turn our attention inward in sacred space (our own bodies) and on holy ground (the labyrinth or a place of power - the best ones are both) we instantly and inherently invoke a power greater than ourselves. It is a self-created rite of passage.

Within the centre of the labyrinth rests an architectural representation of the heartspace, within which you can retreat at any time and be yourself, speak to the One Self and receive divine guidance. Here, you have access to your own ‘heartline’ to the Source within. Here you have direct access into Divine Presence. By literally moving (remember ‘e-motion’, energy in motion) into this space, you move your body and your consciousness into alignment with your soul.

Dear Friends,

May the 13th 'Freya Day' bring you Blessings of the Heart!
Friday is named for the Norse Goddess Freya, another name for Venus, the Divine Feminine. Traditionally, this day was for 'staying home' and celebrating the Goddess through acts of love. Tomorrow, the 14th of February is celebrated at Valentine's Day, another celebration of connecting through the heart.

As a young girl, one of my favorite songs was "Aquarius" by The Fifth Dimension.
"When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius..."
Tomorrow, February 14th 2009, at 7:25 AM GMT, this alignment will occur.

The alignment of Mars and Jupiter, with the Moon in the 7th house occurs as Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, and Chiron the Wounded Healer, the Sun and the North Node all align in Aquarius. To make this even more significant it occurs on February 14, 2009, Valentines Day, at 7:25am (GMT). For those of us on the Pacific Coast, that is 11:20pm the night before (February 13th) TONIGHT. On the East Coast 2:20am on the 14th, and those in Europe, 8:20am on the 14th.

We are on the cusp, leaving the Age of Pisces and moving forward into the Age of Aquarius fully. The alignment of Jupiter with Mars has occurred twice already once in 1973 and again in 1998. Reflect on what was occurring in your life at this time as it has a significant message for your journey forward.

The Age of Aquarius is symbolic of a great spiritual transformation, a new sense of democracy, freedom and humanitarianism. The end of religious separation and the return of a deep spiritual connection to one another. This transitional period between two ages is considered to be a process that occurs over many years, not on an exact day or year.

The alignment will last for approximately 18 minutes so make a commitment to join with people from all over the world at this time and pray that our leaders of all nations are guided by love and peace and we as citizens of the world come together to support the changes of this new era. Be the change you dream about.

The most profound spiritual traditions of ancient times perceived the manifest world, at all scales of existence as being generated and pervaded by a cosmic trinity of active, passive and neutral principles - the divine essence of the masculine, feminine and child. The Vedic sages of ancient India saw the male/active life-force energy they called the pingala and the female/passive energy they called the ida weaving around and through our chakras and the child/neutral energy they called the shushumna as channeling up through them.

When these divine masculine and feminine energies are balanced and so able to fully `birth' the divine child energies within us, the ancient sages saw the so-called kundalini energy that otherwise lies dormant at the base of the spine, surge through us enabling us to fully embody our divine nature.

When this cosmic trinity of consciousness is harmonized and fully expressed within us, we are truly `healed' and `whole' as embodied by the universal symbol of the caduceus as a representation of healing from earliest times.

For millennia, only the highest adepts understood and have attained such wholeness. But elders and mystics around the world are saying that now is the time, when we have evolved to a point where we are all able to awaken our inner divinity. This is our spiritual destiny at the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.

In mid February, we are offered cosmic support to this re-membering of who we really are, by a rare astrological concentration that brings together a number of planets together with the North Node - denoting higher purpose - in Aquarius. And which energizes and inspires the possibility for transcendental breakthrough and healing.

We measure our global sense of both space (longitude) and time (universal time - UT or GMT) from the prime meridian located at Greenwich, England. We can perceive the collective influence of this momentous astrological event by looking at the alignment from this globally `centered' perspective. When we do, something extraordinary and exquisite emerges.

At dawn on 14th February the day dedicated to St Valentine, the patron saint of Love, the Moon in Libra enters the seventh house of relationships. And Jupiter and Mars are aligned in Aquarius in the twelfth house of spiritual transformation.

The Aquarian chart of 14th February reveals an incredible concentration of cosmic influences blending with the energies of Aquarius in the twelfth house. Expansive Jupiter and energetic Mars are aligned with the higher purpose of the North Node. The presence of Chiron the wounded healer offers us the opportunity to heal the schisms that have separated us for so long. Neptune emphasizes collective humanitarian movements and the co-creation of social justice. And the presence of the radiant Sun enlightens the entire alignment.

Mercury also in the twelfth house but just beyond the cusp in Capricorn, allies with transformational Pluto to communicate and anchor the Shift throughout our global structures and institutions.

The Moon in Libra in the seventh house emphasizes harmonious real-ationships.
Venus in Aries in the first house energizes and empowers dynamic co-creativity.

And whilst Saturn the great task master in opposition to Uranus the unexpected awakener is suggesting an ongoing confrontation as the dregs of the unsustainable old paradigm reluctantly give way to the untested hope of the new, their placements in Virgo and Pisces brings practical altruism and visionary inspiration to the transition.

At this auspicious time, I invite you, in the universal heart, to add your own intention for love and peace and to co-create the dawning of the Age of Aquarius to that of the Cosmos.

Gratitude in this Moment!

For what can I express Gratitude in this moment, as I begin (or end) this day?

For what may I express my complete and total gratitude on this magnificent day?

The full moon energy is that of fullness of expression. She inspires us to shine our light even in the darkest, most turbulent skies.

On this auspicious full moon I am grateful. My gratitude goes to all of those ‘external’ guides who have shown me pieces of ‘my’ way. My gratitude sings the song of mySelf to Source whose fullness of Self I am one small extension. My gratitude I give with open arms to the Great Mother for yet another lesson in finding Her blessings.

This eclipse-to-eclipse, new moon to full moon window we have just traversed has been a deep weeding and re-seeding of our individual and collective intent. I was lying outside, observing the energies transforming within (a little dizzy, I admit) and asking to be shown what was changing. What was shifting inside me that would help me to more perfectly mirror the particle of divinity that I AM in the wave?

I was swept into an internal whirlpool of images, sights and sounds. I felt the saviors, the martyrs, the prophets, the icons.... what did it mean? Why this? Why now? What was it that I needed to internally release? What presented itself was surprising to say the least.

The image that presented itself was a middle-eastern male. This man was turbaned, and completely 100% self-identified as the 'chosen one' or ‘messenger of God’. “”What?” I inquired.

I was taken into remembering, a few days ago in a soul alignment session, when what I saw, first, was this archetype, the chosen one, as a young man of high caste, a 'ruling family' who grew up in a society where he was identified by his birth into a family of entitlement. There was no other 'way' but for him to receive prosperity and privilege, as that was simply his 'due' and his literal birthright. His heart was telling him there was another way but he struggled with this inner question: the question his soul was pressing to find: What is another way? How is it that, by an 'accident of birth', I am so privileged, so entitled, and others are not? How is it that there are those born into disenfranchisement? Who would choose this? Why is life orchestrated in this way?

I remembered the story of Siddhartha, and wondered if this was his archetype. The Divine Mother laughed as she continued her inner lesson.

I was shown that I had drawn this karmic 'card' to bring in with me into this lifetime, as a way of resolving difficulties within. It provided a strong influence for choosing the 'middle way' in processing shadow and releasing identities that no longer fit. It provided an impetus to change, an inner drive to look beneath the workings of the status quo and to seek the truth within. Within the confines of this persona's caste system, he had no such opportunity. In this scenario it is I, in this life, who have been blessed with the 'advantages' of the opportunity to evolve my awareness as I choose. So have we all. So have you.

I remembered again that, just the other evening, I was made aware of this archetype in the impulse to turn on the cable. I was pulled into the film Khartoum... not something I would normally be interested in re-viewing. Khartoum was the first film I remember seeing in a theatre, when I was old enough to 'go with the grownups'. My one memory of that film, from childhood, is the son of my parents' friends sitting next to me stuffing milk duds into his mouth as the carnage escalated. Me, with my mother's hand over my eyes as Gordon's head was piked at the film's end.

For those unfamiliar, Khartoum is an epic film, recounting the story of the city of Khartoum, under siege by one that saw himself as a true messenger of God and a servant of the Prophet Mohammad. Gordon, a British officer and zealot himself, is influenced by his own savior archetype and his ego, to go to Khartoum to try to focus world opinion (and its armies) on the situation. Not a film I would ordinarily be drawn to in my current soul alignment, so being pulled into it was definitely ‘guided’.

What I saw this time, was two 'messengers of God' who were both so dogmatically positioned they could not change course. One, dedicated to sacrificing himself for others, one dedicated to sacrificing others for the 'message' he believed was truth. Each acting out the archetype of the messenger, in dualistically dogmatically held positions.

I found the vibrations of 'sacrificing self' and 'sacrificing others' for a defended position of truth in the depths of myself and asked what was wanting to transform here.
The whole archetype of the messenger was up for transformation. The whole reality of intermediary, of messenger, of any defended position in interpretation of divine reality.

I felt how there has been fear of being a 'messenger' because of these old cycle patterns. I felt the Prophet, the Pope, the Christ archetype, Joan of Arc and many others, ripple through my body and my awareness. I asked Spirit what these images were about... having not yet connected the dots mentally.

I was lying outside at the time, having these energies convulse through me without a clear understanding of what they contained. The Divine Mother said 'it is the archetypical messenger ',’ it is the old forms of that iconic presence within yourself, your bloodlines and your unconscious beliefs’. I still struggled to comprehend her message.

"Open your eyes" she said within me. I opened my eyes, into the deep blue of the late morning sun as a huge hawk streaked low overhead screeing loudly as it went sailing off into the west. I laughed out loud. Ok, got it. This is the Messenger archetype, in all its’ 'his'torical forms. Hawk medicine. My totem. My guide. My energetic signature...no more. Or, perhaps in a newer and more complete form. I was shown how the archetypal messenger has taken on a male form and a male dogmatic position over the centuries, and, in my deepest patterning, that was stuck. It was limiting the archetypal powers of the divine feminine as She was asking to express through me.

I offered this up from the depths of my spirit. I asked to be shown, saying 'goodbye' sadly to the hawk - my medicine and my friend. I offered my gratitude and my love for these archetypal intermediaries and the gifts they have brought to the world. I offered my love to hawk medicine for all of its many blessings. I asked to be shown the energies of the transformation. I was instantly gifted with the new ‘winged one’ that would be my touchstone in my transforming vibratory field. Not a guide, but an example; a new way of vibrating change. I was told 'The Messenger is an intermediary archetype. You are both transcending that and becoming its essence. By opening your awareness as the conduit, you become the grace. Full embodiment is what is asked of you, should you choose this ‘. What does one do, when offered such a choice? Overwhelmed and in tears, I answered in the only way I know how. I said ‘yes. I do not know what I am saying yes to, only that I will not say no’.

I do not know how to embody this. That is a given. I do know that I am humbled and honored and am waiting to be shown. I surrender the 'Messenger' in all 'his' and 'her' forms. I surrender into the 'message'. I keep hearing 'Be the message. Be the ‘ONE'; not a ‘chosen one’... but an actual embodiment of ONEness’.

I know how to be willing. I have learned how to Trust. What I know for sure is that these two qualities are all we ever need to change.

A Year of Choice Points ~ Choosing to Create

~ 2009 is an '11' year; a Portal Year, a year of Choices ~

What will you call forth from the ocean of infinite resources?

I Choose to Create

As the new year's energies unfold, I choose to Create. I choose to align with Source, as my authentic Self, in co-creation with All That Is. I choose to be an embodiment of the Divine, of Her beneficent grace and abundance, unfolding without and within. I choose Peace. I choose Resonance. I choose Harmony. I choose Creation. I choose Love.

This 'calendar year' (and is it not amazing and more than a little amusing that we still partition our lives in this arbitrary way?) is going to be, as they say, a 'bumpy ride'. The old cycle has ended and the new has yet to manifest. Will it be the kind of 'bumpy' that leaves us 'tumbled and smashed across the rocks' or will it be Space Mountain, a roller-coaster light show, in the inner worlds of our own consciousness? The choice is ours to make. What will we choose to make real?

This is a year of choice points, a time when instant manifestation has begun in earnest, and not necessarily in the way we had assumed it would be. Think of an 'outcome' and it will manifest! What are you thinking right now? Visioning, keeping your thoughts in alignment with your dreams, hearts' desires and especially your love, has become all important. Remember that every thought is a prayer that the Universe moves to manifest. Remember that this is a new beginning for us all. Remember that every thought you think about anyone or anything reverberates and resonates within you.

A beginning is a delicate time. It is formative. It is causal. It is precious and precarious and promises to be amazingly exciting and awe-inspiringly FUN, if we choose to let it BE. What are your current choices? No, really. Get out your vision boards, your journals, your put-away-lists, and SEE. What have you forgotten that you meant to be?

In each moment of this 'year' exists a choice point. Some will be more impactful than others. Each is an opportunity for exponential growth and change. In the old cycle, the decision not to choose was an invitation for default programs to take over. The old cycle is falling away. Who or what will now choose if you do not? Will the defaults of an old reality become stronger? Will indecision indicate that things should stay the same? Nothing will be as it was. Nothing will work as it has before.

It is time to align with the vibration of miracles. It is time to invoke your alignment with Truth. It is time to remember your reason for being here. It is time to stop pretending to be less than you are.

The time for carrying light for others and the world has reached its completion. It is time to create. What world do you envision? What vibration are you holding to make it real? It is time to live our love, as we create together the world of our dreams.

The Shift has been talked about in many ways and by all traditions.
Wherever you find yourself within it, know that you are loved,
and the time is not only 'right' it is definitely 'NOW'.

Equality in Divinity

Happy 2009, to those who use the western calendar! This is going to be quite the year!

As many of us begin to truly embody the reality of unity in diversity, another reality is emerging as critical in the energies of 2009. This energy is the reality of Equality in Divinity.

We say we believe in equality, that all faiths, all religions, all beings are divine sparks. All souls are evolving souls. We are each on our own path and all paths are equal. But how do we practice this? How do we celebrate together, our reverence for life in all its forms? In the old cycle, the world that is now coming to a close, the underlying architecture was hierarchy. Implicit in this old model is 'power over'. That will we now hold 'power for'? What will we do with this new level playing field the Divine is offering to us? How will we handle the formless flow? As I ponder this new cycle we are all birthing, Source whispers "Equality in Divinity" in my innermost ear.

It is time to remember. It is time to remember that we are all ONE. It is time to self-realize as we look into the eyes and hearts and dreams of another ~ even though we may not agree. It is time to appreciate and to live with our hearts open, as we navigate into a new reality. It is time to be who we came here to be.

What does Equality in Divinity mean? You know. You have always known. Can you look into the eyes of a child/puppy/infant of any species and not know? Can you feel the wind on your face, the water of Gaia's rivers and oceans lapping at your feet and not know? It is time to stop pretending. It is time to let go. Time to know.

I commit, in this time that is NOW, to BE the being I came here to be, to remember, to know, to allow all else to fall away. I choose this. I honor the Universal energies now supporting this process. Will you join me?

New Moon ~ new cycle ~ new life

Today is the new moon, at 4:22AM PST. A new moon window lasts approximately 24 hours, and is the perfect time, in each moon cycle, to set new intentions, to re-format what is forming in our lives.

This new moon is the 'last' in the calendar year 2008 in the West, and has some auspicious aspects worth contemplating. A new moon is the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one. This moon, in Capricorn has to do with how we manage our physical resources / our bodies and our physical lives. It is aspected by a conjunction of Venus and Neptune. Venus is the planet of the 'personal' divine feminine energies of love, or living from the heart. Neptune is the higher octave of the divine feminine, the connection with our Universal Feminine, or unconditional LOVE. Loosely translated, and apologies to my friends who are astrology professionals, this new moon is a seeding time for how to 'marry' our personal soul alignments with divine alignment in and from the heart, and how to "play that forward" in new archetypal alignments and structures in our physical bodies and lives.

A new moon intention practice is helpful in manifesting from the feminine principle. This is one of my favorites.

Sit for however long suits you (or lie down, if that is more comfortable - this is a YIN practice!) and contemplate the energies of the new moon. This is best done after the exact alignment of the new moon and before is moves into the next sign.
Ask yourself what speaks to you in this alignment.
Set intentions for what you are choosing (yes, choosing) to manifest, be it energetically, or materially, in the coming two weeks, and fully rejoice in the expectation of receiving that choice in miraculous abundance directly from Source, at the time of the Full Moon.
Avow your trust in the Divine Feminine magnetic principle, drawing this to you.
Now, put it away. Mark your calendar for the full moon, to joyfully receive whatever aspect of your miracle awaits you!
I have practiced this for years, and am continually amazed and in gratitude for what Source provides!

This new moon is an initiation into the heart. May yours bloom in abundant peace and joy and may its fragrance delight those you encounter.

The Solstice Window ~ Living a New Alignment

Today begins the three day Solstice window that will be exactat 4:04 AM PST on Sunday the 21st (12:04 GMT).

It is a time of rebirth and renewal, of Being and Becoming whole.

The term Solstice literally means "Sun Standstill". The Sun pauses in its path and shines a spotlight on how we currently hold our inner and outer alignment with Source and with all of life.
A Solstice alignment is an opportunity to check in with our soul alignment. If we move deeply into the present energies, we can re-align our soul essence with who we are here to Become.
In the northern hemisphere, the flow of nature is spiraling into the Earth Center, as we approach the Great Stillpoint of Winter Solstice. This inward flow naturally connects us to a deeper level of inner soul alignment, which emerges rejuvenated from the deep rest within.
Those in the southern hemisphere experience the expansion spiral, where the flow of nature is radiating outward from the heart, reaching for the Galactic Center and the Great Stillpoint of connection, completion, and finding Home.

We are in an unpredictable current of turbulent energies and shifting sands. The best way to use this time is to follow your intuition and listen to your heart; not to allow the turbulence of your mind to draw you into whirlpools of doubt or indecision or fear, but to ride the waves of presence in each and every moment. This is a perfect time to observe your own alignment. Are there new choices you can be making that will allow the energies of your dreams to break free? Are there outdated modalities of thought or vibration that can simply melt away?

Just as the Divine Feminine is always birthing the yin and yang movement of creation, so you can tap into that natural flow and have a deep experience within. What will you choose to make real?

We cherish our traditions, our heritage, our wounds and our waywardness. What will now serve you as you grow into your soul? What will you water at this time of Great Remembering? What will be your gift to the light?

A solstice point is a portal point ~ a gateway between worlds, a choice point between realities. What will you take with you? What is ready to be set aside?

Close your eyes. Breathe deep. Enter the Embrace of Deep, Deep Peace. Allow the energies of the Universe to take you. Do not resist. Allow the space inside to expand you. Find your place within the stars and seas. Find the stillness in the voice of your spirit. Ask to be shown, in your heart, your alignment. Allow yourself simply to know. Call to your heart all that breathes with you. Relax all else and simply let go. Know in releasing, what you will come home to. Find the deep peace within your own flow.

Relax. Rest. Rejuvenate. Re-form. Be born into fluidity. Sit out the storm.

What will you choose, as you soul-embody? What will your expressions become? Set intentions. Renew choices. Invest your focus in what inspires you. Be grateful for all that is now and to come.

The Shift has been talked about in many ways and by all traditions.

Wherever you find yourself within it, know that you are loved, and the time is not only 'right' it is definitely 'NOW'.

Dancing with the Divine Feminine ~

As December began, the earth was treated to a unique alignment. Venus, Jupiter, and the Moon came together in the early evening sky.

The dance of the Divine is all around us. She speaks to us in every moment of our lives. There is a wave of Her awareness permeating the planet. How Blessed we are, when we can see it in the skies!

For me, as a resident of the northern hemisphere, Midwinter is always a deep withdrawing, a time to be still and go within. If I am honest, Midsummer is likewise a time of quiet. A pause between the worlds where I can find mySELF again. Finding 'Home' is a significant alignment for this season and for the calendar year to come. We will all be asked to look beneath the surface. To find what inspires, what uplifts, what enlivens from within. To look behind the obvious, to seek the deeper plan.

In many cultures and traditions, Venus cycles have been tracked as the movement of the Divine Feminine through the dance of time. I have been delighted to observe the dance of Venus and Earth as sisters in the heavens and in the cyclic alignment of our lives. What a gift, that the close of an age, the Great Turning, the 'new dawn', would be mirrored in such beauty in the dance of planetary alignments in our solar system, our galaxy and the deep nurturing sustenance of the Universe we inhabit at this time.
